Hello. I came across this video because I had this exact scenario happen to my glass sliding door. May I ask what happened to your sliding door and how you replaced it? Any chance you knwo what may have caused it?
Hi, sorry to hear you also had this experience, hope nobody got hurt. Ours is under warranty so glass company people replaced it with new door for free. Those people said, this kind of incidents happen sometimes, but they didn’t tell the proper reason. In my research I found this may be due to improper installation or some impurities in the glass may also cause this. Some times for outside glass doors, pebbles/small rocks may hit while lawn mowing will result this.
@@DrK._. thanks for your reply! Ours is about a year old but unfortunately our patio door company said our warranty doest cover broken glass. Even though we did nothing to cause it smh
