Просмотров 3668 лет назад
A pioneering new program we've been building for our young hockey players right here in Riverview. Among the first Minor Hockey Associations in Canada to roll this out to help our young Initiation (IP) kids enter into hockey in a much more positive way where they will not only develop better and faster but also have so much more fun in the process.

Shatner Loses it in Recording Studio
My guy didn't know what he wanted or what day of the week it was at the end of that interaction.
I understood what the director wanted. The director's version sounded better and Shatner's was very flat, one tone. I don't know why the comment section is praising Shatner, when he went on an ego trip.
mind you he gets paid per the hour
"Phasers, set for stun."
"Uh, Stephen...can you hear me?" "YES! I CAN HEAR YOU, Clem Fandango!!!"
This was almost cruel and unusual.
Funny
Say what you will about Shatner....he's still sharp as a tack, cunning and can turn a situation to his advantage. He's still talented at this advantaged age.
Did anybody else start laughing when Shatner started laughing. I love that guy!
Lol you go jim !!!!!!!
The guy giving notes was a jackass and kept interrupting him
BILL. Call him BILL. NOT Mr. Shatner. This director probably got FIRED.
I like it, but I really think Shatner should have let the guy off the hook sooner. The producer had been put in his place, relented, and BS still kept the heat on the guy.
Shatner's first take was excellent, but the guy in the studio made the mistake of criticizing what he didn't really understand. Shatner is a talent, but he can have a mean streak when jesting. As I recall, in one scene in the original Star Trek, one of the actors was to slap Kirk on his back as a sign of goodwill, but the guy let rip and really gave a hard slap. The extras standing behind tried to hide their laughter -- they obviously though he had it coming.
I don't get it. Isn't it the actor's job to follow the instructions? I thought that's part of the job.
Maybe I should’ve kept my mouth shut. Yes. That was the only smart thing director said. He was way out of his league.
He did not "lose it", he proved how much of a comedic genius he is!!
His first one was perfect. 😁
Oh shit... he flipped the power dynamic completely! Interesting how he did that. It's like he's channeling Denny Crane!
I heard hes an a hole😅😅
Shatner is just getting his ego hurt
To be fair, the producer did sound a little more excited when he said the word "amazed". Also, it's fair that they wanted him to sound more excited and then when Shatner did the second take, he did not sound more excited.
Shatner overwhelmed the other guy with other worldly alien tactics and Vulcan logic!
Bill, why does George Takei hate you? I have no idea. Bill, why did Nimoy stop talking to you? I have no idea. Bill, why did Walter Koenig despise you? I have no idea.
I think that guy was nearly in tears at the end 🤣
He’s dead Jim!
Clem Fandango
Went to all the conventions, this is exactly how the Star Trek cast described Shatner! His attitude prevented him from making so much more money!
Sh*t T*rd
The guy was doing Shakespeare before that idiot was born and he's giving him notes on a simple little intro like that?. What was he thinking?
NO no if your mouth was open you be lol popping 💊 best fucking line in history that's my line from now on when someone tries to get smart 😂
Uh oh, not excited enough
The funny thing is, the way the Director did it was exactly how Shatner did it the first time with an emphasis on one word. Which is exactly how Shatner did it the second time. This guy deserved to have his ass handed to him. Quite frankly, because he didn’t know what he wanted out of Shatner, but spoke up anyways. Which was Shatner‘s point. If you’re going to direct, then direct with direction. Don’t just say this or do that, understand what the client wants out of the session and give it to them by explaining it clearly to the actor. This is one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever heard.
I'm sure she doesn't find it quite that funny 😐
The first take was perfect
Shatner loses nothing.
Shatners all over the place here - the directors version is the best.
Am I the only one who sees this shatner being a dick?
Yeah I don't get all these other comments praising him. Dude's getting paid to read the script how they want it, and he immediately goes into baby mode the second he gets a single bit of feedback. Sounds like a child that's never been told "no".
Agreed what a douche
That was awesome! There was a Memphis guitarist named Reggie Young who played on countless sessions & hit records (everyone from Elvis to Wilson Pickett to Willie Nelson) who moved to Nashville & charged four times the going union rate for a session musician. Because if a producer wanted Reggie Young, they’d pay four times more. Then Young would get on the session & the producer would tell him how to play. You can tell any guitar player how to play & pay him 4 times less! Point is, why hire Reggie Young or Shatner of you don’t want them to do what they do!
He pulled a George Harrison "Let it Be" "I'll play whatever you want me to play, whatever pleases you" moment on the director...
Talk about turning the tables..shatner is great
What's great about this? He seems like a massive dickwad here.
I love the, “Okay. I think that came pretty close.” Classic!
He was being a dick - the Guy was trying to reason with him. Obviously a bully
BOYCOTT STERN
I love it!
Shatner must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed because he's being a p**ck and making things unnecessarily difficult for an inexperienced voice director. Shatner must have known what the director wanted and just simply refused to give it to him. Shatner's first take was like he was inviting someone to a fireside chat. Clearly that's not what the director was expecting, but then didn't explain himself well. What he wanted was a spiel like Shatner was advertising an upcoming football match or barking at a carnival. He asked Shatner to be more excited on the next read through. Shatner wasn't, he simply read it faster. Shatner then decided to be a troll and get the director to do voice work as an example, knowing full well that it would be awful. Shatner then did a very good job at repeating the read through in the same manner with just a hint of parody and increased awkwardness. The director was very right in asking if Shatner was making fun of him because that was exactly what he was doing. Shatner then steps up the trolling to unprofessional levels. At this point if the director had any experience or authority he would have asked Shatner to calm down or come back another day, or simply not come back at all. But he couldn't do that and Shatner knew it.
These “tv producer” types are always annoying clowns
How was this guy annoying? He only gave one sentence of direction before Shatner started acting like a prick.
These “tv producer” types are always annoying clowns
Who would have ever guessed that William Shatner had a bloated massive ego?
Omg what a spoiled man baby.
