A gorgeous view out the rear window of the train as we rolled to Raton. I also wanted to catch the semaphores while they were still standing. This trip was well timed since I have seen many posts of them being cutover and the fact that this signal cutover project has caused some delays for the trains in August. This trip was in June of this year.

These NS Unit Grains have been passing through LaPlata a lot lately. This one came with a little eye candy on the point and some rain. I wish the meet was a little closer.

I will admit the phase 7 looks nice on these units. One of the days I will catch one on the point here. Until then, here you go.

After the mixed freight cleared the UP train that we were all waiting on got underway again. UP 1989 was in DPU service. There was also a EMD T4 in the lead consist.

It was a nice day in LaPlata and this train appeared before the one that I was waiting on. Mixed freights are always nice to see.

This is just a quick video of the BSNF OCS passing WB through LaPlata, MO on a cloudy spring afternoon. This is just a nice looking train.

A nice spring night and some extra daylight led to being able to capture 3 gorgeous private cars on the back of #3. Caritas was 1st behind the coaches, The ex MKT business car #403 was next and bringing up the markers was the Bella Vista.

I was working with my Father in Law at his storage building near the station when I checked the train status and saw there was an opportunity to see it. Here it is. All Aboard!!

I do not remember the date but I do remember it was warmer. Anyway enjoy the video.
