I'm just busting your chops The way you were breaking down these abdominal traumas Had me Busting A Gut. For real though as always to anyone who takes the time to share anything like this, thanks for contributing to humanity's education. I got stabbed big time a few weeks ago, but it was a 1-2 combo move, Thrust-Puncture followed by Slash-Gash. Guts all the hell out and everything, holding them in my hands for the first time (I usually hold them in my belly). Unfortunately, the knife was not left like Excalibur in my flesh by the time EMS got to me. Frankly, seems like a little complementary trophy I could keep would have been the least the fella could do for me, for my troubles. Nope, one-time rental. In-'n'-out like a deadbeat dad.
Yeah so this gentleman, um, yeh the first thing you see is that, um, when you look at 'im: a knife sticking out of his, uh, abdomen. So, you know, that makes you VERY worried that he's got some sort of, uh, major injury to the structures.
To all - No sir, it's not as easy as it looks 😂
I was almost killed by an attempted percutaneous dilitational trach in an ICU unit after 2 weeks on vent. Among many other injuries from MV had TBI. Had to be rushed to the OR with someone bagging me for air and someone compressing my neck for bleeding form thyroid vessel. Very low oxygen saturation and BP. Of course I was unconscious and so could have died and never known it LOL. Suffered pneumothorax (L and R I believe) and pneumothorax. Portable xray taken either before or after correction in OR (I don't recall which) was read by rad with first sentence "a momentous event has occurred". A combination of incompetence and possibly contraindicated due to my condition.
Seems like they showed the say way to clamp. And said it was right once and wrong twice lol im confused.
The first way (the correct way) they were facing each other i.e the one on the right facing left and the one on the left facing right. The 2nd way (wrong way) they were facing away from each other i.e one on the right facing right and one on the left facing left. 3rd way (wrong way) they were both facing the right direction i.e either both facing right or both facing left.
Thank you doctors and surgeons
This was SO helpful, I can't even tell you. Thank you!
Thank you❤
🤢🤮
9:44 I don't understand how the pylorus is in front of the duodenum? Shouldn't it be proximal and the duodenum follow the pylorus distally? Not on the same level and posterior (as in the scroonshot).
I want to thank you for your help
