Got enough zip ties there?
Never enough zip ties!

Are you still experiencing a probl3m with this machine
No. I was able to get it off eventually and made the repair. Thank you. Are you a machine mechanic?
@Ratherbemilling im more of an apprentice still but i do know a bit about skid loaders specifically bobcats
@Dieselmechazord that’s great, equipment techs are hard to find around here, Westchester, ny. I have a Takeuchi TL140 that needs a bunch of maintenance that I just can’t get to.
Its to drain coolant from thw block
@@Dieselmechazord good to know. Thank you!!
Very helpful, thank you
Glad it helped
Damn nice wood
I really need to see whats going on
The port is plugged
The dog knew that's why she came down
Dogs always know best …
changed your name?
Yea, finally found one that make sense … I’d always Rather Be Milling
The dogs are hard at work
Always!
Always knew you liked working with big hard wood.
Nice mill , debarker probably tripped breaker, I use a mini battery operated gas pump stick works great for filling the mills gas tank
Thanks, yea you’re right… the debarking tripped the break because I wasn’t moving it out far enough. I’m going to get a new 14 gallon electric pump tank… I have the gravity fed one right now.
There is no way in hell a lightweight mill like that will handle a 4 foot log.
your probably right but you know how manufacturers like to market their equipment ...
Wow a saw cutting wood
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Really appreciate it
I love that mill, how did you convince yourself to go spend the bucks?
Me too! You should get one!! Honestly, I knew it was the one I should have gotten originally, before the 15. Didn’t take much convincing, watching @theoldmanandthesaw and @outdoorwiththemorgans showed how to mill safely… I was never a fan of loading logs with a machine and rotating by hand… to many things can go wrong. If you remember Marks hand got in the middle of a log and the clamp …. He’s ok and no permanent damage but I know I wouldn’t be that lucky. Plus, I get asked to mobile mill all the time … now I can do it efficiently
And it took 20 minutes on the fancy mill...or at least it felt like it did 🤣 Good job and you'll get the hang of it! Has, what do you call him...Genius tried it?
Hahaha there’s definitely a learning curve with rotating logs. I’ve got it down pretty good now though. ‘Genius’ has not put his grimy hands on it yet…. Hahahaha
I was VERY disappointed that you didn't make any BIG mistakes. Nothing to laugh at.............yet. WHEN you screw up just think that it's somebody else's mill and it will seem funny. Still thinking (dreaming) about a new 38HP mill.
I promise there are mistakes coming to you soon… I thought you ordered it already?? It might be the best bang for your buck with this mill… although I have nothing to compare it to other then the 25hp on the lt15.
@@Ratherbemilling It's very hard to justify 10-15K for a "better" mill. I'll really have to sweet-talk the boss first.
Probably froze, or blew up. Batteries tend to do that
Congratulations on the new mill. Nice mill. Good video, except you might have left one individual out of the video 😂😂😂 Would have been a better video to watch 😂
Thank you! I can’t think of one person who should’ve been left out.. other than me. Listening to your own voice is just strange! @theoldmanandthesaw could you think of anyone??
So... When you buy an LT40 wide it now comes with an old man?? What a deal!
That’s kind of the best part… old people give you all their wisdom and knowledge … plus 20 bucks is 20 bucks
Nice saw! I got about half way thru, will watch rest this evening. Nancy has been wonderful helping me get parts quicker and with cheaper shipping than going through Indy.
Thanks! It’s a bit long and a lot of stuff may not be clear. The whole WM have been great.
@@Ratherbemilling Now that you got a mill that does everything for you, you are going to have to spend more time at the gym 🤣
@southernadirondackoutdoors hahaha gym or mill more beautiful logs…. I’ll take milling and then hit the gym.
VERY good video Ravi. Hope you've been making lots of sawdust. Dave
Thank you sir I’ve taken a day off to mill, saw dust is pilling up! Log yard is going to thin out quick
Like a good neighbor. Ravi is there
Haha that’s right.
Where's the mill???
Ha! I guess I missed the most important thing!
Looks better in real life.
@@TheOldManAndTheSaw who me??? Aww thanks
I'll bet it's a BRAND NEW LT40 Wide with a remote station.
That is a very good education guess! Impressive
All shiny! Good thing you got it before there's salt on the roads. Congratulations!
That’s a very good point, didn’t even think of that. Thank you!! I’m incredibly impressed with how great the experience was with Woodmizer. Will never even think of buying another brand machine.
Say hello to Dave for me.
Hello Paul.
@@TheOldManAndTheSaw Hello Dave.
No
No, but I recognize a stupid video when I see one, and this is definitely one of them
You wouldn't think it's so stupid if you were a member of the INNER SAWMILLERS CIRCLE. To join you have to have a Wood-Mizer sawmill.
@brianrausch7757 Don’t be jelly because you’re not in the circle.
@@TheOldManAndTheSaw you're right because then I'd think I was stupid.
@brianrausch7757 but you already are … smh
@@Ratherbemilling part of the circle?
I bet it starts with LT
Hmmmm you are onto something sir.
Ok I gotta ask... Why aren't you milling? Lol! Nice driveway.
I ask myself that when I’m sleeping… Took a while to get to this point in my build but it’s worth it. Thanks
😂😂
LOL! I watched this on mute but I get it.😂
No words needed … haha
Nooooo. Well warranty voided! 😂
Haha
Pretty sure it would, might have to adjust your compressor psi but it’ll probably work
Would this work on cement tiles? Soffits/Cladding?
I think the force would make it crack the tiles making it even more dangerous then it already is
Been there done that
If you replacing the condenser ,so will you just close the the valves and unhook lines
Yea, the fittings on the lines will self seal. You’ll need to be a little careful about the charge in the new condenser… don’t want to over charge the system
Fr
Why is it so deep 😭
No bushings on the conduit entry's is a code violation in my area
I think it is here as well however only when using emt not ridge pipe. I could be wrong as I’m not an electrician.
OMG LOL
I know there is the MrCool DIY model and the Advantage model.. The DIY has precharged lines, and the Advantage system, mine, does not. I'm planning to remove my Advantage system and replace it in a week as it failed. Can I disconnect the lines on the Advantage system as you described without it leaking freon?
I’m not sure about that. Seems like you probably can’t since you have to charge the system like a typical HVAC set up. Best to contact Mr.cool regarding that.
@@Ratherbemilling I got the answer from an HVAC guy I know. Close off the two allen screw ports at the outdoor unit. Then disconnect the lines at the top assuming the seal is still good to close when disconnected. I bought a DIY, not MrCool, system, that is charged and I bought a pump and gauge setup to draw a vacuum initially before opening the allen screw ports, per another video. Then it should be good to run.
@cranstjs awesome thank you for posting this
😂
Those steps are incredibly sharp...
Wood treads are going on top… new video of it coming out later tonight
1 slip and good bye life if you hit your neck wrong! =o
That’ll teach em talk tread carefully haha
No measurements? Thanks ❤
You can get the plans and exact measurements from April Wilkerson’s website. However from memory I think it is approximately 3’x6’ not sure how high it is.
