Hiya. Im not a tech channel, so have no first hand experience but, and this may be useful, the few sources I read after reading your question have said the sabrent fits fine. From my experience, I took the ssd from the ps5 disc version and just slapped it straight into the pro. I'm no techy, but at no point did I think something looked odd or that there was a problem. @HesitantHobo Thanks for that info and that link! Never thought the sabrent would fit. Cause the bay cover area of the SSD on the pro is a little different diameter and length structure compared to base PS5. I'm curious to see all the heatsinks people used for the base PS5, which ones are compatible for the pro. I'm sure that's why the reason why Sony stuck with the M.2 SSD architecture on the pro and not NVME 5.0. Cause people would have to upgrade their SSDs again. I'll look more into it and test out some heatsinks. How are you liking the pro so far? Big differences compared to base PS5 in terms of Fidelity and fps performance? From what I'm hearing from developers and even watching the digital foundry videos, it looks like a big promising upgrade! PSSR is a game changer and will get stronger and better overtime.

No probs. I think the gauge as to enjoyment would be buyers' remorse, from which I have none. I really enjoy No Man's Sky for the VR experience, and it is noticeably superior than the standard PS5. That opinion is waaaay biased, though, but every time I launch the game, I'm impressed into open mouth wonder. I haven't really messed with the performance/quality settings on games, but every game I have played has shown noticeable improvements. I lack the tech savvy to describe it in such terms, but as a consumer, I am very pleased with the improved product.

If it improves even if it does not have a patch, the dynamic resolution stays high all the time and the fps are stable, it is like that in all games without a pro patch.

Yep, it's what I did. When you boot it up for the first time, you'll get the message that it's registered the drive (as part of the set up routine) and then that's that. All sorted.

In fairness, mate, the error was on my part. I shoulda checked before I put my phone away. It clicks in fine. Unfortunately, I didn't.

Good spot. I noticed after I put my phone away and thought, 'Oh poop. Someone'll notice that. Maybe I should add an edit?' But then thought 'Nah. I'm trying to help, not be perfect', but all the same. You are right. I just pushed it after.
