Probably has to do with the fact that it was a Toyota Dealer. They are certainly not used to '25 Lexuses. They probably thought it had a V8 or just put the same amount they put for a Truck/SUV. Toyota Dealers should be able to manage every Lexus.
I do most service by myself since this day dealers not only provide good services, but also scam you.
Bought a brand new 25 Camry after driving about 200 miles checked the oil level out of curiosity and it was high.I decided to change the oil couple of weeks after and I confirmed that there was one extra quart in it! I agree with everything you said about the service industry, I learned my lesson years ago and try my hardest to fix/ maintain everything myself but now they took it to a different level a brand new car overfilled with engine oil from the factory! give me a break
I know it's a pain in the ass sometimes but I do my own. Get low profile ramps (widow maker) makes it simple enough.
Did that fix the issue? Having the same problem rn
I would check the map sensor, my code came back after couple of days, cleaned the map sensor, that was it. It’s fairly easy, should’ve done a follow up video. Let me know how it goes.
2008 RX350, 2017 ES350, 2024 NX350h in my household. I take all my cars to a local mechanic whom I have used for the last 5 years, with the exact pre- measured amount of oil and a Toyota OEM oil filter. He pours in exactly what I give him, then I hand him $40 cash for each car. 😊. I don’t go to the dealer unless the oil change is free or warranty work. I never go along with the 10k miles oil change interval. For me every 6 months or 5k miles whichever comes first.
Samsung dishwasher is 100% trash, stay away!
This worked for me as well. Saved me a couple hundred bucks thank you!!!
Can this be done to connect solar powered cameras to a home power supply?
@@born4fun I would think you need to match the power supply with solar, or whatever the requirements are for the camera. Maybe solar is supplying only 50V for example, then you need to step down from residential 120V.
Rubbish .
Thank you. This happened, the water pan was full of water. We cleaned it up with a shop vac. It came on immediately. 🙏🏽
Thank you
Hi I have LC error in my Samsung dishwasher. After clean the impeller and hose as this video suggested, the draining clog issue is gone, but LC error is still there. Any idea what to do next?
Knuckleheads indeed. I had the same issue where my ecobee would just shut down. Sometimes I’d hear a rapid clicking sound, indicating low voltage. I measured the incoming voltage twice - once it was 0, and the other time it was 24. So it was inconsistent. I was able to temporarily “fix” it for months at a time just by power cycling the furnace, but after limping along like that for a couple years that temp fix stopped working. I suspected a dying transformer, but didn’t have the confidence to work on it myself. Finally called a service tech, and he checked a few things at the furnace and concluded that the problem was my ecobee, also told me I should get a new furnace because of a cracked heat exchanger, then left and charged me for the service call. Knucklehead. But since I was desperate for heat, I replaced the ecobee with my old battery-powered tstat and have had heat ever since. I’m getting the furnace replaced next week for other reasons, but wish your vid had been available back then.
Tried all these and it wasn’t the diagnosis, finally had a pro come out (210$ Later) & the breaker flipped on the bottom right of my “ Air Handler/Furnace”(Not the breaker to the home). So check that also before spending. Pro was in my home for 15min🤦🏾
Hello I broke the little piece 😢 any way to still take the pump out? The dishwasher has been out or commission for a while 😫
Thanks man. That little piece kept me from having to pull the pump haha. Dishwasher is back up and running
Thank you for this video. I did not know about that little piece blocking the drain pump. I took out all the filters, but this video showed the step that I needed! Thank you and God bless.
Gti mk5 2008 the starter just died today for the first time for 16years old car😂😂. I guess is the same work
Would have been nice to watch you put it back together again. 😕
Great video i try to do all my own work and was looking everywhere for a guide my 2009 sportswagen 170k struggling to start already checked alternator and battery so hope i can get her running with this info thanks alot!
I was just about to needlessly start taking off panels to get to the impeller and your video saved me. How the pastashio shell found its' way to the impeller I may never know, but it's out now and the filters are screwed in tight bow. Thanks!
How do you put it back together
Can you tell me how to avoid tripping treadmill from gfci outlet.
Your method worked for my dishwasher which had been out of commission for a few years before I decided to find a solution. 🤦🏻♀️ Anyway, last night it stopped draining again. I couldn’t remember the steps so I did a quick search and so glad I found your video easily. I’m going to save it this time just in case I need to refer to it again. Thanks again for sharing and showing us how to remedy this issue!
What hp is ur thread mill i have a 2.8hp that i bought new havet try it planing to connected in side my storage i made it a gym well ading that thread mill but is 2.8hp hoping my storage 15amp outlet will make it 🤞
Nice home and a 50 cent looking wire job lol
Just have to wait for the wire to straighten out then it'll look fine
I have two ecobee thermostats One is fine one is dark not powering up My question is are they hooked up on same spot down on my furnace ?
How many furnace you have?
@@bdmechanic4170 one
Same problem here. Did you find a solution?
Thank you man. You had the perfect video. I have 2011 base model.
Glad it helped. How many miles you have? Mine failed at 105K, thought it’s kinda premature.
@bdmechanic4170 wow that's early. Mine at 178k. But I've replaced a ton of parts already.
@@Bluestarseed1 what other parts you have replaced? I also changed the vacuum pump, probably engine cover sometime soon.
@bdmechanic4170 ball joint, outer tie rod because those bushings can open like lesion. Sway bar links, my belt broke and my piston hit the valves. So I had to resurface my head and put a new valve, belt, water pump kit. That one took a while for me to fix. Would had cost 2k or more for a mechanic to do. I changed the brake, caliper, rotor set. Changed rear brake too. Also the brake wheel cylinder. I would rather have an older car. Like b4 1996. Way more simpler. Once you hit 100k change your timing belt asap.
@@Bluestarseed1 yes, agree. New ones are even worse, build quality is poor. Got another question for you, my ac takes time to blow cold air only when it’s hot outside. During cold/normal temp, it’s all good. Been doing that for several years now, have you noticed anything similar? Any thoughts?
Ours just started doing this when workout is done and with hitting the STOP button. Does this no matter what outlet we connect it to. We've tried several outlets GFCI and regular. But this just started happening this week and the treadmill is maybe 8 years old. And we do walking workouts, not even running. Husband only does 30 minutes at a slow to moderate walking pace.
We have a samsung dishwasher bought brand new in 2017. Worked for a year, then error code 3C came on after. The dishwasher starts, runs for about 10 minutes, then hums up and down and just flashes 3C code with water left in bottom. 3c indicates drain pump, which we replaced, but problem continues. It does drain when cycle is canceled. I checked drain filter and its all clear. Any insight?
Did you try resetting?
@bdmechanic4170 I've resetted multiple times. Turned breaker off for a few minutes, then a few hours, and have completely disconnected and reconnected.
Those steps didn't fix my TV, I had to order a new IR sensor. Now I'm trying to figure out how to replace that IR sensor. Nothing online for instructions for replacing that type sensor.
ever find a video?
MY MAN! CLUTCH
still working?
Thanks for this video! I was unable to understand as to how to access the impeller that drains water. Followed the instructions and that helped me!
Hello this may seem like a silly question. My ecobee has given me a blank screen in both the summer and winter. I have had a HVAC company come out along with the cable company that provided me with the thermostats to no avail. I am up in the attic with my York Heating and Air conditioning and need some help with the panel. Any thoughts
Hi. You are missing the 24V to thermostat terminal. I would check the 24V output from the furnace, transformer is further. Check if the wire from that terminal has 24V, it is typically the white wire that runs all the way to the thermostat inside your house. That’s first step, if you don’t have power, you can check the transformer for sure. I have seen loose connection, burned out control boards, loose terminal on the board. It’s not likely your Ecobee, you can also check 24V on the back of the Ecobee, that will tell you if your unit is bad or not.
this was a big help. Thank You!
My problem is it's tripping my outlet but my outlet isn't even a GFCI. It's a normal 120V Grounded outlet on the same circuit as other outlets in my house. It's literally the only thing plugged in to that circuit too. Still keeps tripping at only 1.6mph
Tripping at 1.6 is kinda odd, I would find a way to measure the current its pulling. How old is the unit?
@@bdmechanic4170 Bruh I bought it 1 week ago haha. It's a Sole F63 2023 model. Brand new. I had to buy 10 gauge extension cords so I can use the outlet right above the garage door opener for the treadmill and run the garage door opener from the outlet immediately next to my treadmill. Works perfectly now except its a little ugly with that thick cord running twice across my wall and ceiling. Whatever. At least it works now. I tested it by turning the speed on maximum while maximizing the incline and even turning the fan on. Ran great for several minutes during the test. 0 problems. In practice I've ran it for 22 minutes at 3.4 mph so far with absolutely no problems.
This worked for me ! God bless you and your family ! People like you make this world a better place 😊
Also… check to see if your fuse is blown first!!
You're right! I had just bought my sole fitness treadmill on April of 2023. It was only 8 months and it suddenly kept tripping the GFCI. I did what you said, which was connecting to the outside GFCI and it didnt trip. Going to home depot to switch my GFCI!
We have Samsung dishwasher. Water is not coming. So what we have to do?
Are you still having the issue or got resolved?
❤❤❤ thank a lot 🍻🍻🍻 hair stuck in the filter running into the impeller
thank you
Great video! Worked like a charm! Thank you.
Thank you it literally just happened lol
Thank you, I was struggling how to remove the drain pump cover.
Helped me out.Thanks.
Watched this video and fixed our dishwasher! Thank you so much for making this!
Glad it helped!
You may have been lucky in splicing the wires without checking polarity. I believe the power supply is DC even though it is not stated in the label. By convention, the RED wire is positive, the BLACK is negative. As the extension cable did not have any color coding, it may have been a 50/50 chance you ended up with the proper polarity on the end connector going into the camera. I suggest using a voltmeter to determine which part of the original connector on the power supply is positive and which is negative BEFORE cutting the cable.. Typically, the longest "barrel" on the connector is negative, the tip and / or the inner hole is positive, but not always. AFTER cutting the cable, create a temporary splice and check the polarity of the connector. If its correct, finalize the splice. If not, reverse the wires in the splice and test the connector again with the voltmeter. Note, you could burn out the camera if you connect the polarity of the connector backwards and try powering up the camera. I may have a chance to test this as I plan to pass the cable through an outside wall. I need a much smaller hole (1/4") if i temporarily cut the cable about a foot or so from the end connector and then splice it back together once I pull the cable through the wall. Otherwise, I need a 7/8" or larger hole to fish through the cable with the connector attached. Ken
