Can Baby Make Mom Pee?
Here is another real-life example of the physics of pressure. For nine months, the fetus growing inside of a pregnant mother is pressing on her bladder 24/7. As the baby grows more massive, is there ever a point at which it could trigger the micturition reflex? (i.e. the micturition reflex is triggered when there is enough weight on the bladder for the bladder to spontaneously release its contents).

    ELECTROMAGNETIC field travels at finite speed. True. But that doesn't explain how ELECTROSTATIC field can exist around a charge upto arbitrarily large distances, which effectively is, action at a distance.

    since they both will have the same potential energy (at the same height), does this mean that the linear velocity of the sphere will be lesser than that of the block?

    • @Kazami101
      @Kazami101 Месяц назад

      I would think some of the potential energy will be converted into rolling if the object in motion is able to roll. This is an imaginary scenario where both happen to be undergoing translational motion, and happen to be moving at 10m/s. Though if they were dropped from, say, the edge of a skateboarding bowl (accelerating from rest instead of starting at same speed) we might see them move at different speeds

    I had a 30-minute, 3 tesla MRI about 9 days ago. I asked the MRI technician if in his MRI training he and the other students were encouraged to keep a distance from the MRI machine in order to minimize any affect the 3-tesla magnetic field might have on his body. He said, "No, magnetic fields do no harm to the body as far as anyone knows." From that conversation, I learned that the magnetic field of the MRI machine is not turned off and on with each patient. The 3-tesla magnetic field is on 24-7. He told me that it costs tens of thousands of dollars to "extinguish" and re-establish the magnetic field. Every time they extinguish it they have to release all of their liquid helium, which is there to keep the MRI conductors at super-conducting temperatures. Replenishing the helium is expensive. I have said that to say that the technician is in and out of the very strong magnetic field many times a day every workday of the week and through out his or her career. If they were being harmed, almost certainly we would have heard of it by now. Also, I have searched quite a bit on websites for information about harm from electric or magnetic fields, but those whose job it is the research these things say they cannot find evidence of harm. Some of those who say that these fields don't appear to do harm are: WHO, CDC, FDA, IEEE, European Commission, OSHA, FCC, and on and on. The only such fields that may cause harm are those electromagnetic waves which carry enough power to cause heating of flesh, or those whose frequency and photon energy are ionizing. The frequency of the EM wave would need to be higher than 2.4 million GHz (10 electron-volts).

    If you guys think that Black Holes are nuts like I did, look up "Spaghettification". Basically, once you get close to a black hole to where it pulls you in, the force is so great that you get stretched out like a Spaghetti noodle. Black Holes turns you into Spaghetti. Supermassive Black Holes smashes you into a pancake instead (known as Pancake Detonation). So, Supermassive Black Holes turn you into Pancakes. Even more nuts! universe.nasa.gov/news/241/what-happens-when-something-gets-too-close-to-a-black-hole/#:~:text=This%20effect%20essentially%20stretches%20out,A%20Brief%20History%20of%20Time.%22

Their child, Chemical Physics, must be just as neat as its cool, fun parents!

    For those of you wondering why at 11:57 , Sin(θ) = y/L when it should be tan(θ) = y/L since L is adjacent to θ and is not the hypotenuse, and in SOH CAH TOA, Sin(θ) = Opposite/Hypotenuse whereas Tan(θ) = Opposite/Adjacent, please look up and read more about Small Angle Approximation for Tangent, where for very small angles in right triangles, the hypotenuse and adjacent lines are almost similar in lengths, thus tan is going to be equal to sine. www.google.com/search?q=Small+Angle+Approximation+for+Tangent&sca_esv=662cffd7cc06fb3f&hl=en&sxsrf=AM9HkKkKbdZyoEiwmN18pionvzrXN2MUZw%3A1701398700243&source=hp&ei=rEhpZcKgDLjXkvQPwN-uiAE&iflsig=AO6bgOgAAAAAZWlWvJWfxpJOj32gP6roy0CQrKZLK2NU&ved=0ahUKEwjCppaJnO2CAxW4q4QIHcCvCxEQ4dUDCAw&uact=5&oq=Small+Angle+Approximation+for+Tangent&gs_lp=Egdnd3Mtd2l6IiVTbWFsbCBBbmdsZSBBcHByb3hpbWF0aW9uIGZvciBUYW5nZW50MgUQABiABDIGEAAYFhgeMgYQABgWGB4yCxAAGIAEGIoFGIYDMgsQABiABBiKBRiGAzILEAAYgAQYigUYhgMyCxAAGIAEGIoFGIYDSMUFUNECWNECcAF4AJABAJgB_AGgAfwBqgEDMi0xuAEDyAEA-AEC-AEBqAIKwgIHECMY6gIYJw&sclient=gws-wiz
