Just bought some of these style stopwatches (Amazon is full of them in varying types of casing). They all seem to be copies of an old 1980s stopwatch. I'm having vague memories of these button combinations to set and change the time. I bet 99% of the viewers of this video bought a stopwatch off Amazon then an hour later started wondering how to shut the beeping up 😀

I would strongly suggest replacing the 2 rocks at the hogline with something like plastic cups or pylons especially if you get low in your slide like most tuck sliders. I missed the first month of a season once because my knee hit one of the stones.

Thanks so much! Had this happen on my third game using my new brush and was gutted - so glad to learn this is an easy fix.

Find the plastic around the broom cracks. Likely due to using the broom to pull rocks. Not the best design.

Is there anyway to turn the whole watch off?

Does anybody actually ever want an alarm on a stopwatch? Surely these only go off accidentally. I've thrown away several over the years as the alarms keep going off and I only want it as a timer for circuit training exercise classes. This video doesn't help me unfortunately as I have a different make.

Also worked on a "Binloo XL-011" Sanity saving video ! One further point about the annoying alarms on these stopwatches, how to turn off the alarm (shown as 'on' with a bell or "crescendo" in the display) is even more complicated. In "Clock" or "Timer" mode press AND hold "split/reset/lap", then simultaneously press "Start/Stop" and the alarm should switch off. The use of those two buttons thus explains why it gets set to 'on' accidentally..... Why are these electronics companies so tight about buttons, their multi function buttons are indecipherable ! And why does anyone want an alarm, on a stopwatch anyway.....
