This depends on what type of training you want to do on it honestly. For interval training I would recommend an Air Bike, but if you want longer steady state training then go for the Air Cycle or the Concept 2 Bike Erg. I have an old Schwinn AirDyne, Rogue Echo Bike and the Xebex Air cycle. I have done longer steady state workouts on the AirDyne and Echo Bike, but find it harder to keep the motivation to stay on them longer. The Bike Erg I have been on for over an hour with a bit more ease. Hope this helps!

Yes but in the south that air flow blowing in my face helps with the 125% humidity attempting to dry the sweat.

It was getting the correct measurements and going to Lowes and having them cut and thread pipe. But honestly with the cost of metal Titan has some nice pull-up bars that are cheaper than making your own, unless you just want to give it a go. The only issue I ever had with it was being on it backwards and hitting my head on the door frame... You only do that ONCE!

This was strategically done so I wouldn't hit my head. I first had the rings attached to a board on the ceiling, then videoed myself swinging to find the proper distance so when I cut the hole and built the framework, I wouldn't have to do it again. I built a 2x4 box, then the top support is 2x10s so all is weight is pulled from them rather than 2x4s. I highly recommend this as a solution. I considered other outdoor options, but wasn't a good option for weather.

I really enjoyed Street Parking, but coming out of a CrossFit gym I needed a little more stimulus like muscle ups, rope climbs and such so I switched to Mayhem a couple of years ago. I still would recommend SP to anyone. Their community is unmatched! I’m 46 now have doubled up with Mayhem’s bodybuilding as well as their metcons. If you don’t care for the MUs or handstand walks I would recommend SP. You would just need the basics of equipment and can still get hard workouts in. Linchpin programming I never liked but Mayhem is the same price as SP so it’s all with what equipment you have. Hope that helps!

@@austincannon this is a perfect answer thanks. I’m thinking SP is my speed. Am I right to assume once I get used to the daily SP workouts I will safely be able to fit in some lifting and trail running on top of that? I feel like I want to do SP 5 days every morning and then also work in 2 days of heavier lifts on top along with 2 days of zone 2 trail running. @@JB-hq9yj Yes you would be able to continue trails and might need it because they love lunges and weighted box step ups so running would flush out all the lactic acid build up you may get from the conditioning work. Good luck with it glad to help and thanks!

With the amount of moisture from the concrete and being able to reuse them to make multiple blocks, thicker material is necessary. Using something like plywood would warp and the screw holes would get stripped in the process.

It sat out there for two years and didn't rust and I live in Mississippi which is very hot and humid for most of the year. The only place I can where is rusting now is on the back of where it was mounted outside. It now lives in the garage attached to my rack.

That isn't a bad idea honestly... You wouldn't ever take the sand out of the smaller insert bags. It could probably work. I still have one more to refill and I may end up doing a video of that process. Thanks for the idea!

@@silentangel251 Actually no that thing has never leaked and it has been put through the ringer. I was actually going to look at getting the 150lb version of it because of how durable it has been. I use that sandbag more than any other one in the garage gym and still cheaper than the Rogue version.

@@silentangel251 Also someone suggested to me to use rubber mulch to fill the bags instead of sand... So there is also a thought.

Cat8 uses the same RJ45 cable connectors, but you are still going to be limited to the 1gb ethernet ports.

Yes I did. I used thin sheets of plywood cut to around 6 in strips. Stain, then poly and used my brad nailer to attach them to the wall. Rather than using traditional shiplap, thinner plywood is much cheaper in the long run and doesn't extrude from the wall too much. Thanks!

Xebex has had a rower with the same flywheel for several years now, so I guess it isn't an issue with Concept 2. I guess it follow along the same lines as Schwinn and their airdynes... Everyone has made a fan bike clone for years what seems like no issues with patents.

Come spring I will try to get to a follow-up video on my experience with them. End result: Make sure your math is correct on all the blocks. I had some ends blow out because of not fitting the same on the different sizes. Also, living in the southern US, anything planted near the edges will get cooked. I had some snow peas that kept drying out from the heat last year because the blocks retain heat. All in all the blocks survived the spring, summer and winter even with the last week of super freeze. I would highly recommend building them if you have had to replace raised garden beds in the past every few years or just want a garden bed to last.

I was in the same boat as you. I wasn't sure if it was going to be what I wanted in a stationary bike, since there was literally no info or videos on the bike, until Garage Gym Reviews did one, so I took the leap of faith. So let me be perfectly blunt... I LOVE this bike! it functions like the C2, flywheel damper, cadence. As I noted it doesn't have the PM monitor, but I believe the monitor on the Xebex has more metrics up front to utilize. Get it if they are back in stock!

For atrophy, yes I think it would work well in the Resistance setting as long as you move the knee as it goes through it's program. It will help to increase the muscle stimulation and blood flow to that area. Will it correct the issue? No, but it will help build strength back to the muscles surrounding the knee.

@@austincannon That sucks but no problem! Yeah not a bad idea using rocks. I bought a 30$ one off wish before and it fell to pieces within a week. It was only 40 lbs too. Like you said as well, sand was everywhere.
