       @TEHLTs, if charging time is less than 4 hours, if you need 24/7 service, you just buy two of them for $32k. With any robot, if you want 24/7 work time, you need at least two of them, or it must be plugged in.

    My question is, was this person a musician? Musicians have the ability to layer multiple tracks in their mind. Regular people cannot do this. It suggests a visceral difference in the relationship that a musician has with sound itself, and i believe it would be better to find someone who can play and compose music vividly in their head, rather than just a normal person who listens to pop rock. You may get a more visceral result because the musicians brain is taking in more of the sound

    I read somewhere that Boston Dynamics is a money sink. They said that these bots are preprogrammed to perform these tasks during these demonstrations and are not actually autonomous. They trick big companies into buying them. Then once that company realizes how useless the tech is, they try to sell them off to another company. So far, they have been bought and sold by Google X and Softbank Group. Hyundai Motor Company is the last company that bought them. Let's see how long they last before they sell them off to another sucker.

    • @TEHLTs
      @TEHLTs 8 дней назад

      Yh it shouldn't be limited but as a human, i should be more confident working beside a humanoid bot. As for atlas, the movement is just finicky and inefficient. May even be a greater challenge than just making it like a human torso.

    Some terrific results there, especially the close ups on the eyes of the Antarctic explorer looking through the binoculars. And his discovery! I wonder if AI film making will eventually be sufficiently capable of matching continuity, especially for multiple actors?

    • @TEHLTs
      @TEHLTs 9 дней назад

      That was one of my favourites, it's high time for ai to democratize film making. And certainly, AI would be capable of continuity and multiple actors. In like a year or two. Cool observation.

    is this title a joke? tesla is literally years behind the competition. Their robot is crap in terms of advancement and their supposed automated taxi is not even ready for a real test drive while other companies are already driving on the street with paying customer and other robots have been running, jumping and making backflip for years!

    • @TEHLTs
      @TEHLTs 15 дней назад

      WYM other companies are already driving on the street. Although not perfect, tesla has been doing that with fsd for a while now, recent videos from users show that it works really well. and for the company doing flips and jumping, how many of them have been sold to the public. Most even cost $100k+ a pop, And not like the tesla bot wouldn't be able to do those things later on, right now, they are focused on cost, functionality and scale. None of which these so-called companies you alluded to would be able to deliver better than the Tesla.

    I have to agree. Probably the most boring Tesla event I've ever seen. The phone videos from the people who attended were more informative. How is the inductive charging going to work? Install options? Cost? Does it have a NACS port too? Where is it? Is there a frunk? What does the trunk look like? What about the cleaning robots? Where are those gonna be? How are they gonna work? Will it only be made in silver? Are there going to be different trim levels? What efficiency is expected? How big is the battery/range? Do I have to bring my own bluetooth controller to play Rocket League or what?
