Some dubs certainly lack emotion. Attack on Titan is NOT one of them, in ANY language! And while I personally ain't the biggest fan of English dubs, I will always give credit where credit is due! Period!

can you elaborate are you saying that the english vas always actually feel the emotion but dont make it sound good and that the japanese ones are the opposite

@@thunderlord7321 this is the exception of dubs actually. Bcruase in most cases they are too monotone. The contain their vocal inflection and this perspective in aesthetics comes all the way from European Western Musical influences. Which is in opposition to the foundational influences of japan.

Annoying sub elitist, its just japanese voice acting

For those who don’t understand the dub without subtitles the English sub is preferable.. some of us want to watch the show and pay attention to the visuals too . Bryce gives Eren energy even in Sub so don’t downplay his performance just bc your preference is the dub. I never seen anyone hate on Yuki to big up Bryce so I don’t know why people who prefer it in Dub always has to shit on this man’s bread and butter. Clearly he has talent he plays many characters and his body of work speaks for itself.

Couldn't agree more. Yuki is an incredible actor. I'm sure Bryce could do very well in an American cartoon, but I think anime is best left to the Japanese, they do it best after all =)

@@Riley-ic7ww you quite literally just referred to the sub as the dub and vice versa, and the reason people bring down bryce to make yuki kaji look better is because yuki kaji simply is better, which isn't even bringing down bryce it's just that yuki kaji is a really really good voice actor

@@MidnightNachos to say that a person can’t understand why anyone would watch even one season of dub is bringing him down. People watch dub bc they don’t want to sit there reading subtitles while trying to appreciate the visuals. There is nothing wrong with the dub , infact some of the time watching the Sub the subtitles are not accurate, and there are some scenes where the Dub sounds better for the sake of how it translates during moments like Erwin’s final speech in S3 a lot of the dialogue is easier and better translated in English dub . Bryce been VActing FOR YEARS, and he clearly has no problem staying booked and busy . As far as which version is better an opinion is simply just that , an opinion.
