This lost my attention in the last season ,I think it went " meh" it was good too, it needed more supernatural stuff i think, too much of a CSI feel for me. Diff story every week, I prefer a long drwn out story like they have in the background .

Few things I'm assuming it backfires. 1: When he dies, he can't take the coin with him because it's a physical object. So he can't cash it in. 2: He can't go to heaven or hell, so his soul is eternally trapped inside of his body. Doesn't matter if hes a skeleton. 3: When he spends it, he's sent back to the living world, but it's only a matter of time before he dies again, and goes to hell because he spent it. 4: Option 3, except he gets resurrected in the middle of a highway and gets hit by a truck, or some sort of instant death scenario. 5: He technically purchased the coin with his soul, so that means the coin is completely useless to him and would only work on someone who hasn't sold their soul. 6: The coin literally does nothing, and he just flat out lied to him because, well, he's Lucifer.
