👍
Don’t ever go to the Apple Store first go to a third party preferably not Apple authorized then compare prices
I 100% agree
VIENNA IS SO E X P E N S I V E. YOU NEED TO EARN €3,000 A MONTH TO LIVE COMFORTABLY WELL.
you can also do it with 2500
$1,600 for 1 bedroom - $4,000 for 3 bedroom? In NYC $1,600 gets you a parking space for a luxury car in Manhattan or a studio very very deep into Brooklyn (that means an hour by subway from Manhattan) with rats and maybe no kitchen. In Manhattan $4,000 for one bedroom is almost impossible to find and in Zurich that is a nice 3 bedroom (2 bedrooms more)e. So how do you have the city as the most expensive. A decent 1 bedroom in Manhattan is around $6,500. Again DECENT. You want something nice but not lavish you need to move over $10,000. And this is just rent. Grocery $450 per month in Zurich and in NY you won't be able to spend under $180 per in a cheap store or $320 in a medium quality store. A bread is from $6-$8 in a good supermarket. All the above so you can understand why I said that Zurich is not the most expensive or even close to the most expensive so be happy for what you have. As well I am not bragging but laying facts down. It is actually very sad. As well be happy for the quality of life you have in Zurich.
manhattan is very expensive but you can find places in the bad parts of NY that are not very expensive. But probably not the places anyone would choose to live in. And I agree quality of life in Zürich is mich better than in NY. Maybe even better than any place in the US.
@@capital7255 sure thing, you can find cheap places where most likely you will be shot or stubbed in a matter of 1 week since you move in. But we are not talking about those places. We talk about places where honest, regular people can move and have a life. And in order to have a bare minimum comparison I resumed to Manhattan. Again, even in far away parts of Brooklyn with questionable safety, you still need to pay $3,000 for 1 bedroom. Quality of life in the US is not comparable to any country in Europe, except Ukraine.
@@user-rm2wj9gj3l Crazy how expensive some places in the US are right now. There is a lot of greed and speculation but also more opportunities for business and well paying jobs. It's a shame that not all office workers can work from home. This way many people would move to cheaper areas of the country and the overall economic development of different parts would balance itself out.
@@capital7255 it is insane. For example LA was always number 10-11 in the top most expensive and now is 5. San Francisco is insane. Miami went very high. So yes a lots of greed. Salaries are big but the majority don’t have big salaries. As for the remote work, 60% of the offices in Manhattan are still empty and they look at options to convert them in residential which is very hard. As for the businesses down it’s hard as they don’t have the amount of clients (as they work from home) and it’s harder and harder to cover their costs. Commercial real estate it’s high as well, so for a juice bar, small coffee shops or a salad or sandwich place it’s very hard to survive.
@@user-rm2wj9gj3l I remember looking at prices for commercial real estate in NY and it was insane. What's even more curious is that a lot of these places for a small shop have been sitting empty for years (even before corona) but the land lords still don't want to reduce the price. Don't understand how they can afford to keep them empty for years. I believe there should be a very high tax on keeping a place empty.
hello, I'm from brazil and your channel is vary good.
thank you! love Brazil!
In NYC, 2 bedroom apartment rent is $2300.
salaries are also much higher
@@capital7255 yes
Nobody can get a two bedroom apartment in NYC for only $2,300. Unless you live in the worst neighborhoods, you can’t get a two bedroom apartment for less than $4,000 per month.
@@dpbrunberg you can get it in Jamaica estate
I love Austria1!
same
The TV license is €316 per month? That's so expensive!!
a year
@@capital7255 Oh ok makes more sense
@@ananixon but with this inflation things might change :D

wow
What about the fitness. How much does it cost for a gym membership?
~30 EURO/ USD per month for a regular one. You can also find some that are much more expensive.
that it is the 'best city' is based on the pseudo scientific Mercer study. they dont give the data why they get those results. very likely they are just for ideologic reasons ..
It really is a great city.
Current Inflation is being driven up mostly by fuel prices, If we switch to Nuclear power and give greater incentives to buy electric cars (including subsidising and prioritising lithium battery production) this problem will subside substantially over time. Also, many countries are going for the practical short term measures of taxing fossil fuel company profits to discourage extortionate profiteering.. Overall though, Society’s rejection of Nuclear power was a massive mistake, and the environment has payed dearly for it as we continue to rely on fossil fuels for our electricity,
Thanks!
Nothing if you are an illegal undocumented economic migrant. It seems we love you and the steam off your piss ...we will also step on our own people and put you top of the list above our own. How's that?.Can't resist? Come right over! so....
$7.60 per gallon WOW! How do thet keep their good so cheap w/ fuel cost so high?
You'll see that price in most places in Europe.
@@capital7255 thats wild.. we think 3.50 is alot here in NY
@@CinCee- wait until you see the taxes in Europe. 40% of your salary is pretty normal. Also V.A.T. (similar to sales tax) at ~20%. (both vary country to country)
@@capital7255 We get taxed close to 40% of our salary here in the US except we get nothing back in return. Just bombs & subsidising oil
A lot.
