Very interesting video on Confolens! My husband and I are in the early stages of planning our retirement in France, and I find videos like this one very helpful in learning about the very different regions of this beautiful country.

The Roman Empire never collapsed it just became *"France"* absolutely. I want to say the Imperial Capital became Aachen as part of the #tetrachy_of_rome as imagine for a moment even the Rome of today Governing all of modern day France! Of course this was ridiculous and goes to show how our understanding of the Roman Empire remains far too limited to Rome itself as to how the *"matter"* was in fact run/not run educated/not educated #roman_road_wurzberg #wurzberg 😊😊#salt_roads 😊😊

I was born and raised in Charente, and I lived between Mansle and Saint Amant until my college years. Last summer, I returned to visit my family and brought my wife to all the places you mentioned. I worked as a tour guide in the Bordeaux region for ten years but, unfortunately, never had the chance to do so in Charente. I'm glad you made this video showcasing this lesser-known region of France, which has so much more to offer. Great job!
