i hope i can play this to gen alpha or beta someday to confess them into metal🤝
metallica went back i time and brought dave mustaine
Is there a instrumental version to this? I wanna do a cover ❤
sound like venom black metal
Guy talks so fuckin much bout what he thinks I wanna hear from the guest. You can hear some guests sigh and even mumble when he just fuckin goes onnnn and onnnn it's crazy how dude gets the best guests and they literally speak 20 mins out of a 2 hour podcast because this dude just has to let us know what he thinks and repeats the same shit over and over. Just crazy to me.
@@TheeLumiDae I'll tell ya what... this interview was still better than Steve-O's.
Dammit, that solo must be forgiven🎉

Yeah I sampled the acoustic guitar from that song.
Just the right amount of sacrilege, love it
Joe rogan is a closeted gay man
Before podcast it was professionals like Larry king doing proper research and having topics for his guest to discuss.Joe Rogan does not know how to respond correctly.. Zuckerberg is on there genuinely expressing his concerns with censorship and Joe Rogan responds like he's in another room no feelings or anguish for his guest..it's like he's not really there he hears the guest then rambles on about what he's feeling..hes a psychopath detached from empathy..then hell cuss for no reason pay attention Zuckerberg has not cussed he's all oh interview boring f bomb...he's a child that's not a man.. And this is who we look up to..no.there not going to change either they do it more on purpose we can see the deception.. nothing against the guy personally but something is off in his attitude about life there is a disconnect with his guest and failure to take two hours out of his schedule to research some challenging questions.fail.we can all see it now.
oh my fucking word
underrated video
Its kinda got that in my darkest hour vibe at the end of the chorus
This will get my mind off Guitar Hero
Redbar has ruined this podcast.........I'm glad

@johnp82 oh yeah, 100%
Dave "I've done it all" Mustaine.
its like he's not even listening
Oh
I can’t fucking stand Rogan
The demo version has two independent guitar melodies. James plays a pedal tone root fifth descending movement. Dave plays an upper melody (sounds like it includes a 5th and 9th for what is called a 5/2, add9, or sus2 chord) that turns a bend into an artificial harmonic. There is no guitar with power chords following the bass like in LM because they didn't have a third guitarist. McGovney plays a descending line on bass, then goes up. This is different from LM's power chords going up E Phrygian. LM has only a one guitar melody, with the other doing backing power chords. This simplifies the bridge and makes it more powerful. LM's melody begins descending in E minor, adds an F to put it in Phrygian mode, then shifts to A minor/Phrygian. Dave's idea might have worked had they had three guitarists and better mixing, but Metallica's version is simpler and more powerful. Between Dave's stuff and LM, the only part that is note for note the same is 1:06-1:07, moving from A5 to B5, and using the same rhythm: two 16ths, 8th, 8th, 8th note rest, 8th note slide to quarter note, quarter note. E minor and Phrygian are common in metal: they literally just go E5, F5, G5, A5 for part of LM. Saying Dave wrote LM would be like saying Hemingway copied Dickens by using "the," "and," "or," and "but." Aside from that, totally different writers. So it is the same with Metallica and "Megadeth" here. Metallica changed the song up enough to make it unrelated to Dave's demo, probably to deny him songwriting credits and royalties, as they were trying to move past his old material. A similar comparison might be "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor and "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath. Same kind of E minor descending line, but enough parts to make them different. One bar and 2 seconds out of a 5:40 song does not mean Dave wrote it or even inspired it in a way that can be objectively proven. Had I listened to this, I would not have said "Leper Messiah" came from this demo, only that the chord progression is briefly similar, with the tail end A5 to B5 being identical. When Dave says he "inspired" "Leper Messiah" via "The Hills Run Red," he is grasping for straws. Meanwhile, his riff ideas for earlier Metallica tunes were used more or less note for note. He doesn't need to ride their coattails for his own success, especially since his 90s work was superior to theirs. However, they had better early ideas than he had, mainly because they could simplify his fast, noisy, chromatic/minor pentatonics and turn them into memorable melodies. Dave had great individual riffs early in his career, but he did not know how to transition them well because he was trying for speed only. "Master of Puppets" being preserved by the Library of Congress as aesthetically, culturally, or historically significant was done without Dave's contribution, although his riffs kept them going into the early days until Metallica could break free of his shadow on their own merits. After all, Dave gets more benefit from being an ex-Metallica member than Metallica gets from having the Megadeth frontman as their former guitarist.
Have you thought about adding James to the album Peace Sells? Megadeth's best album and Lars' favourite Megadeth apparently. My Last Words and Creeping Death, Peace Sells and For Whom the Bells Tolls, Fight Fire with Fire and Black Friday, Wake Up Dead and Ride the Lightining. Could be a killer mashup album!
@@DavidScott-hi4fz I already did a Ride The Lighting/The Conjuring/Bad Omen mashup. Also did For Whom The Bell Tolls with In My Darkest Hour.
I thought this was just one song but its the whole album! Dude please keep up the great work. Maybe one day James and Dave can do that collab but until then this is awesome.
Joe Rogan sucks.

My Friend Of Misery Metallica You just stood there screaming Fearing no one was listening to you They say the empty can rattles the most The sound of your own voice must soothe you Hearing only what you want to hear And knowing only what you've heard You, you're smothered in tragedy And you're out to save the world Misery You insist that the weight of the world Should be on your shoulders Misery There's much more to life than what you see My friend of misery You still stood there screaming No one caring about these words you tell My friend, before your voice is gone One man's fun is another's hell These times are sent to try men's souls But something's wrong with all you see You, you'll take it on all yourself Remember, misery loves company Misery You insist that the weight of the world Should be on your shoulders Misery There's much more to life than what you see My friend of misery You just stood there screaming My friend of misery

A lot of the comments really show a lack of actual musicians looking into this lol but just keep in mind these are 30-40 year old RECORDINGS which dont show the full details. It is likely Dave edited this riff and this was the only bit of proof he was at least working on it. Could always be something cliff did, who knows.
