What a shame that beautiful boat was left to the weather without any remedial upkeep done to her topsides. There has been so much water intrusion allowed to happen over a long period of time - major tear down and rebuild of many bulkheads and interior spaces as well as the entire upper cabin - - - what a crying shame!

Yes indeed they do, this Mercruiser model is based on a VM Inline 6 cylinder diesel. VM Motori S.p.A. is a diesel engine manufacturing company which is based in Cento, in Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

Hello Leo, thanks for your comment. The 818 Titanium in the video is a United Kingdom specification model, Balt Yacht will have a local distributor in most European countries who will be able to provide further information.
96v at at 40kw would be 400+ amps. How do they make that work? Anybody have insight? (Google says the Power Delivery cables would need to be 3/4 inch thick for just a 2 meter run) So stoked for this motor.
Standard battery to motor cables are 5m, there is a 10m option.
Wire gauge calculator says for a 5 meter run @96v and 400 amps ( for any sustained period of time) the cable needs to be 1 inch thick else they're going to get voltage drop accompanied by overheating. 😮 Is the wire gauge published in your documents for that 5 m or 10 meter run from the motor to the battery? This is the root of my question. So curious how they make this actually work at 400 amps sustained without having overheating and voltage drop. I suspect this product is going to be in my future just need to understand the physics.
Also replied to your same question on another video: You need 4 batteries to run the X40 at full throttle so you reduce your calculated amperage by 3/4.
Where did they get the seadek from?? I've been searching all over to find a template for this boat.
