Finally paid a pro to check my work, ghetto alignment wins
i finally paid a shop to align my car, $160!
i was doing great, anyway, after installing front inner tie rods, adjustable front upper control arms adjustable rear upper control arm mounts, adjustable rear toe control arms, and coilovers, it was straight when it entered, almost perfect!
Though I am not paid to work on my car, or any car, I am certified to be a Professional Technician, by ASE. What I do (for an alignment) was done before computers existed, and I was never taught in school. I taught myself when it needed done. While my methods don't generate an image with numbers, they do generate results. Update OTW!

Hmmm. That's interesting. Far simpler then a Catch Can. Might not need to Drill/Bolt in a "Can". Maybe just need to replace/extend the existing Hose... As long as it (my vehicle) isn't spitting out large quantities of Oil (where the Extra Capacity of the Can would allow excess fluid to "drop out" of the way.) On the PVC/Air Box side where "PCV Air" is fed back into the Engine If I disconnect from the Air Box/Baffle Side there should be a slight Vacuum there if the PCV system isn't clogged. Similarly If I remove the entire hose and place a piece of paper over the now open port feeding into the top of the Engine... it should be strong enough to keep the Paper held in place while the Engine is idling and PCV isn't clogged...

It is "permanently oiled", so it has sealed bearings and an open crankcase. That leaves the bottom of the piston exposed… The muffler is a mower muffler with a 3/4" pipe thread input & a dirt bike air filter. Most compressors have a npt inlet, but not this one, so it's attached by sealing & tapping the airbox…that was plan #1, with minimal results, that's why I made this shed/doghouse/thing.

2 rungs over your guider... that's just safety 101... just saying... second how about you just use the gutter sized approved items due to there low cost... just saying, my life is worth more then my roof or gutters.

I was in a hurry, i'm a lightweight, and I never got on the roof. The standoff thing could be attached that way, too.

If you add some gummy grips to the blocks on the roof.. that won't slide when wet. And you have a jillion dollars

I thought about that, but I found the weed is soft enough the shingles get a really good grip in the limited rain we got while working on the gutter. Shingles are like 25 grit sandpaper, so using a soft wood (ie: pieces of a pallat, like I did) sticks pretty well with a bit of weight on it. I don't think I'd stay out there if it rained more than it did.

they do make ladder stabilizers purposely made to avoid gutters.. They are $100 tho

@@donmotitas6338 this is a pit wider footprint at the top, so it is like a stabilizer. It feels pretty secure, but it could be wider in some situations, but that's as wide as the scrap I grabbed was long. I also needed to position it all the way to the edge, to reach some fasteners.

My XS D3100 has said to replace since it was 6 months old. I think they're overpriced junk. No offense to you in the least, i assure you. It's just a very expensive battery when a Rural King battery at $100 has lasted my wife and I 2 years now, and i use one for my 2nd battery for my system, and she has the 1 battery for her car and system. No complaints at all.

The XS Power capacitor is still working, now. I was using a group 9 lead acid battery for almost a year, and it tested as over 500 CCA at the local Honda dealer. Then that battery died, now I'm running it with a Noco NL9 lithium battery. Sure, the NL9 could start it alone, but the electrical stress would be very high. XS Power's capacitor smoothes things out, for easy starts of my DD, and a ~33lb loss!

Excellent question! Because I can, & because it cost me nothing to make that exhaust fan, but I couldn't reach it from the ground. Everything I used (the fan, the baling twine, the PEX tubing, etc) is stuff I found that was intended to be thrown away. That makes this recycling…("repurposing") My shop needed an exhaust fan, so I got (this) one for free.
