I don't know what some of these comments are. I thought it was a fair review. The video looks like to a documentary. Her acoustic sections of her tour are my personal favourite. There's a few songs during folklore and Red with just a piano and a guitar and you're right she's doesn't need all the production, but I do think it's visually stunning.

Here is this channel again. Undertones of disrespect. But, you are a little more positive this time. You say you want her by herself on stage but refuse to react to many videos of Taylor by herself on stage with a guitar or piano. She has a whole section on the eras tour that is just her and instrument. The backup dancers are not on stage with her for every song on the eras tour. Many songs are just herself on stage during the concert.

If you want Taylor out there on her own with just a guitar, go for "Death by a thousand cuts" and "Corneilia street" You won't be dissapointed.

I think swifties say (ias a swiftie myself) she doesn't have backup dancers all the times because there are performances that it's just her and a piano or guitar or a banjo. Taylor calls it "the acoustic section" each tour is a huge production but every Taylor Taylor does an acoustic part of the show where it's just her and an instrument for a few songs. even in this tour she has that part. I think what you meant is you think Taylor's strength can be shown more in an intimate feel environment rather than the all out pop production tours with dancers and visuals. i'm saying she does both. Also, Taylor in my opinion is more an album's artist than a singles artist. the fan favorite songs are usually the deep cuts and to really get Taylor fully a listen to an entire album gives you way more prospective than her single choices (which are usually aimed to be the radio friendly ear-warm catchy songs).

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this isnt just a great song and video.... Its a masterpiece and deserves to be in The Louvre. This song should be heard by every person on this planet and learn somethung from it. I certainly did and it will forever be the most important song In my lifetime. Thank you Florence for showing us how beautiful you are on the outside, but more importantly on the inside too.

I think you're speakin the truth when you say Charlie kicked open the doors for a lot of the folks we listen to today. I also agree with your point on the timing of his career and why he didn't break thru even stronger. I always remember the drama of everyone turning on the Dixie Chicks years ago with the whole Bush controversy, i thought that hurt his success as well. As a Florida boy, not privy to the scene in Texas, Charlie was also my introduction to the whole genre of Texas and red dirt country. I saw his video for El Cerrito place on CMT's wide open show. I loved his voice, his look and his performance in that video, I thought he could have been a movie star. I looked him up on the internet and bought every CD he recorded. Then plugged his name into Pandora and found all these greats!! REK, Wade Bowen, Roger Creager etc. I just heard about his passing and am sad but grateful for the music. Thank you Charlie, you are missed

A little info behind the music video and the song.. The song was inspired by a 2001 anime movie titled "Spirited Away". Chihiro Ogino is the protagonist of the Academy award winning 2001 Studio Ghibli film, Spirited Away. In this famous Hayao Miyazaki movie, the 10-year-old girl happens to get stuck in a spirit realm. The spirt world is kami which is a part of Shinto folktales. She is trying her hardest to get her and her family out of there. She opens a door at her workplace which is a bathhouse for a notorious spirit who disrupts the apple cart further. For the song, she “envisioned a dream-like narrative” with “long, dark hallways and shutting of doors” in order to “symbolize the different corners of the mind,” according to a press release of the new music video. This could be seen as the musician and her costar Nat Wolff run away from each other through several rooms and even fight a few times in dark hallways and eventually outdoors. In the music video, the pair just can’t seem to get rid of each other no matter how they try, which Eilish said was a representation of their “inescapable connection.” They appear to battle it out in the grass for the last few moments of the music video, before the music video ends with them sitting together in the grass during a sunset. Eilish said this was meant to show the “external expression of an internal push and pull, as our deepest feelings of fear, love, or desire inevitably catch up to us, no matter how hard we try to run away."

Don't forget about Finneas. He is a HUGE part of billies music. She's good on her own, but she's even BETTER with Finneas. She's widely considered to be "Alt Pop" - I've never heard of "hush pop" before, lol.

Great reaction! You definitely need to listen to the whole album start to finish. She and Finneas were able to create the entire album without having to send updates to their record label, so they really were able to experiment with music that they wanted to write. They've done an Amazon Songline where it's somewhat acoustic with back up singers. There's also a video of her song The Greatest done live on the Stephen Colbert show, and it was just phenomenal!
