Whatever you do, don't buy the Quart S battery, it does not fit and Chi will tell you to take a hike, if you ask them for help.

My friend has been having issues with his Quart battery for a while now. His board Captain Morgan’d him yesterday at only 6 (5.9 but close enough) miles and I personally charged it for him to 100% with the home charger to really top it off! Not impressed tbh. We even turned the board off and back on to cycle it through and it still crapped out.

Can you install the cbxr battery system on a standard Plus board?

My one wheel has not worked in 2 months. I let it sit in the garage through winter... Thinking it was the battery, searched how to install a new one. There was a place right down the street from me that happened to sell after market batteries. After watching this, I went there to go buy a battery. There was a gentleman that helped me that looked familiar. Not thinking anything of it. I went home to install the battery. I'm watching the video and Bara the guy in the video is the one who helped me.....wow. Absolutely incredible. Awesome staff and sweet work shop. I'm up and running with a higher mileage range. Thank you for the full circle customer service and quality product!! Will recommend!

Bought the T20 and T30 bits in the video but none of them work? Or am I using these wrong can someone help?

I have a pint battery that reads shorted on the connector but no obvious heat damage or swelling on the pack. What couod be wrong here?

Beware!!! I bought and installed the CBXR. After 100-200 miles my BMS died. A lot of other people on Reddit have reported the same issue after upgrading with the CHI battery. Awesome product if it was reliable or if CHI could repair or replace the damaged parts. Just know that you are taking a big risk by upgrading your battery with CHI.

He really should've mentioned you need a clamp to get the screw holes to line up in the battery casing cause the new battery is so big it kinda stretches out the housing a little.

Hello, I just installed my battery and everything was working just fine until I plugged it in and got Error code 21 I’m not sure where I messed up

Thx for the very accurate and good video installation guide. Did mine today and wanted to add that the current cbxr can not really be installed that easy and flush as you show here the cable handling and scraping took special effort and careful handling but even then the pack is way higher up on the cable harness side. Seating the enclosure back correct again ist best done by aligning the plate on top it is then hoovering over the openings of the screws. Lightly fix screws all around the lid except the phillips screws, and start to pull the plare down a little by little going one screw after the other which tightens the lid evenly. Nevertheless the pack is having a little bulk so the rear footpad has a 1,5 mm gap between rail and footpad and is deforming the footpad concave upwards. It fits but it is no easy fit.

I bought a pint with quart battery upgrade used for my fellow one-wheeler. Last night was my first range test, flat-ground on the Pacific setting I got just over 12 miles before the Pint died Is that about everage?

PLEASE BE AWARE YOU REALLY GOTTA STUFF THIS THING IN. It will look like it doesn't fit: it does. You gotta screw the cover down over top of it.

This is a great video, but many steps are made to look very easy. at 2:45 'they might be a little tight' is a massive understatement. I don't have a high-power drill or the bit needed, so I ordered a wrench kit with the bit. Bit was fine, wrench underpowered, so I used a portable powered screwdriver - no dice. Used a higher powered rechargeable drill. Nothing. Finally went to a workshop that had a real drill. Meanwhile my disassembled Pint sat for weeks.

Hi, will my stock charger still work if I install the battery mod in my pint?

When we got to the battery it required a specific drill bit to open it. We couldn’t find that but anywhere so we ended up voiding the ow warranty for nothing.

The batter is like 2CM taller than the old battery. How do you get the metal plate back on? It’s starting to piss me off

that's a lot for this video, I definitely tried my best to follow your instructions guys but only thing is that will the charging light ( green) ever turn green once the battery is fully charged, I ask because i dont see it turn green. or did I do something wrong ?? please help overall thanks for your installation guide for this amazing upgrade

How compatible is the current model cbxr battery with the newest 4212 version of the XR? I know it says on the website it’s only compatible up to the 4210 version, but would I be able to modify the battery housing it to make it work?

I'm going to be honest, this review was great at first, but near the end I got seriously pissed off. It seems like you guys were specifically avoiding describing or showing the length of screws that were needed when reassembling the one wheel. One of the big issues with the cbxr is too long of a screw penetrating the battery and causing a fire... And you guys just avoided that entire conversation. WHY

Hi guys! Love the battery, got it around 4 months ago and have gotten up to 20km of range with aggressive driving. One thing I could recommend you to add to the video or maybe change about the battery pack is the free space on the side of the battery pack where the wires run. My board wouldn't turn on lately so I investigated and figured out that due to this slight slack, the battery pack actually pulled enough on the xt60 cable coming from the controller to disconnect it completely. This is partially my fault because I frequently put the board down on its non-handle side, and in that position the battery weight hangs on those cables, me dunking the board against the pavement just made it worse. Everything works perfectly fine now that I've found the issue, and I filled out that empty space with a cut to size eraser but maybe the pack could come with some foam padding with adhesive on that particular side? Worst fear is the cable disconnecting mid-ride

If you are upgrading the battery, wouldn't that also be a great time to buy the water proofing kit and install that as well?
