You are so wrong in thinking of the leftists as green. They are fully and totally tribal. Where a green would endorse orange and blue as being below him, they (modern lefties) absolutely don't understand them and hence truly hate and fight - a very clear purple level. That's the problem with them - they pull the society down the ladder; the abundance of such thinking as they profess brings death and suffering, universally. Indeed, JP is much more a green type - goes above and beyond the call of duty to help and fix an enormous amount of people he has no connection to.

saying the flaws of green is a disservice for those in orange. WOW! I've been scapegoated in a 30% green commune. so I know the temptation. When this happened it was the catalyst that let me not need others to carry my emotions and I became disagreeable with delight. this is just a phase. I should be more vonerable with green.

I think Petersons intentions are exactly that of highlighting or likening communism to aspects of American or "western" life. In such regard I can't expect that there's a need to call it radicalisation anymore than what you are teaching people. I think a brush is being used a little to paint everything the same colour by Peterson but at the same time I think Leo is painting Petersons words the same colour too. I think Peterson would admit there is more nuance to a "Neo Marxist" than just their position in life. I agree with the semi political approach but I also believe secretly you both have a much deeper hate for government than your publicly willing to admit for fears of loosing your platform or it being portrayed different to your intentions.

In a perfect Utopian world, Jordan Peterson and Leo Gura will mesh into one proto-type idealism that everyone should follow. I like Jordan's conservative style of taking personal responsibility. I also like Leo's creed of finding moderation and balance in life. Jordan's wealth of psychology knowledge is unbelievably priceless. Leo's master of mind is also priceless.

Leo Gura: says all values are social constructs, completely relative and have no objective ontological status. Then proceeds to present a hierarchical value system (spiral dynamics) which constitutes of very specific value judgments as a way to categorize individuals, navigate trough life and approach the ideal. Leo Gura is in childs shoes in terms of philosophy and his worldview is horrifyingly incoherent and full of contradictions. It's really comical watching him present himself as someone who is competent in the domains of epistemology, ethics and metaphysics when he just studied some eastern mystics, tripped his balls off and from this altered state of consciousness came to the conclusion that unlike every other worldview, his worldview of pure relativism is even beyond a "worldview/ideology", beyond dogma and cannot be questioned once you realize it. To claim you have absolute knowledge that you have reached absolute truth is the definition of dogma and epistemically weak beyond belief. This is why the legendary line by Socrates: "I know that I know nothing" has echoed troughout history as one of the most profound epistemological insights that great thinkers have always reminded themselves of. Jordan Peterson would make him his intellectual bitch.

I’m not sure how much of Jordan Peterson Leo has actually listened to and internalized but some of this I agree with and some no. For example to me he doesn’t demonise all of green, he just wants green to have a little more personal responsibility. Obviously if you are true green you would have learned those lessons in orange. So in a way he’s trying to tell immature green to go back and learn your lessons. And he’s warning us of the negative side of green that has been rearing it’s ugly head lately. I’m fairly certain that if Dr Peterson met a true green he would not demonize them. And as a woman I don’t see he’s pushing any overly masculine agenda. He may have some beliefs about that I don’t agree with but I don’t expect to agree with everyone and don’t feel pressured or uncomfortable as a woman with any of his beliefs.

Ah so nice to see a good analysis of JP. When I used to watch content, I noticed that his ideology is hating ideology. Kind of a brain loop.

Leo can see outhers shadow because he himself sees it in himself, we scan say anything about Jordan because the shadow is present. But in the same way a smart guy like him has a shadow is equally the same amount of ignorance it takes relatively speaking for you to see your own, that's why solitude, and psychadelics shows U the bad stuff you don't want to face.

I’m a fan of both Leo and Jordan Peterson, but I think Leo missed he mark on this one. Some of the stuff he mentions are valid but without an intelligent response from Peterson, there’s no way to test their ideas against each other. Peterson’s “masculine” teaching have been vastly beneficial towards many young men. Leo is on the side of fully actualize one self, but without Peterson’s “clean up your room” attitude, many men/women would not even get to the point of fulfillment and self-actualization. I think people must understand Peterson’s teachings to then try to tune into Leo’s teachings.

Okay so Leo thinks Obama is yellow, Trump is red and orange and Jordan Peterson is tier one. Leo credits Obama as being a yellow thinker, but what Obama is known for is being a charismatic and two-faced politician. BLM started under Obama's leadership. Obama was unable to unify the country. I don't see how Leo's thought processes hold any water here. Further, I get the sense that Leo is frustrated by a lot of these topics and when he gets frustrated it's almost like he's trying to convince us of something in a desperate way. If he was confident in his ability to convey this message clearly, I don't see why he would be so frustrated.

It's time to revisit this topic as JP emerges from a very significant and difficult life experience with apparent changes of character. Yellow turquoise transition occuring?

Consider that Jordan Peterson may actually be [blue prime], or something beyond that. When we're stressed, doesn't our behavior typically regress two levels? When he's undergoing stress (like when he was confronted by rude students), he seems to move into coral. I would rather attribute that to a higher order of thinking than some cold, inhuman calculation or conspiracy. (I can't imagine what else you would think of him and reach that kind of conclusion.)

Peterson's basic point is that society is trying to jump people straight to green while a lot of their blue and orange is rejected/underdeveloped which is, as spiral dynamics also points out, a mistake. I think he's right and that he's right is the reason why he's so successful - he is speaking to a reality.

You don't "pass through" (what you said at one point) from one stage but you integrate the previous stages into the next. One doesn't reject orange values in favor of green values the your way to teal. (Its the idea that people which identify with Green values, think they can in some cases fully reject Orange which is precisely what makes Peterson so angry). I really enjoy your channel, I love your insights on everything from the DMT elves to meditation, but I"m afraid this video, I think you misunderstand Peterson, you misunderstand spiral dynamics. Very simplistic take.
