The late Pat Murray had a nice textured voice, he was also a great ceili drummer, he played along with the Mistro Tony Kearney for some years his late brother Jim was also renowned on the music scene ...He was almost at the pinnacle in his career as he was set up & looking forward to a tour of Country & Wormans clubs in UK, then he called me to say he was unable to fulfill the dates etc, I fondly remember having that long chat with Pat over the phone shortly before he passed away, such an easy going gentleman...RiP Pat.

Great stuff . Started to die out in the late 90s just when I wanted to get into it . Autocross very popular in Ireland now with a lot of the rally boys doing events . Don't know how a lad could keep rallying these days even at a low level with the costs involved and especially insurance etc .

Thanks for sharing these videos Jimmy. Great memories especially of the racing in Ballyduff. We used to often go there and also to the Pike, Rosegreen and Ballinhassig in Cork in the 80's and 90's. Great racing.

have u any full races from Wexford . remember going good every Sunday as a young child. Peter waters used to video them all.
