SZD 55 - Erster Start nach Grundüberholung

"Erstflug" meiner SZD-55 auf dem Flugplatz Uetersen/Heist nach monatelanger Grundüberholung und Überarbeitung. Ich hatte den Flieger im April 2014 gekauft und parallel zur Segelflugausbildung wieder auf Vordermann gebracht. Jetzt bin ich damit zum ersten Mal abgehoben - ein wahrheft erhebender Moment!
Is there a neo version of SZD 55 ?
Wie widerlich doch "Der Feind in meiner Spritze" ist. Lieber wären Sie bei "blond" geblieben. Ein russophober neocon zu sein, ist wohl die Voraussetzung bei den deutschen Medien. Ekelhaft
Exquisite Polish construction. SZD 55 was and will be one of the best gliders in the world for a long time. It is necessary to know his story and at least thank those who worked in PZL - Bielsko. Nobody invented this equipment quickly. Respect for the constructors and the technical team
Exquisite polnische Konstruktion. Die SZD 55 war und ist seit langem eines der besten Segelflugzeuge der Welt. Sie sollten etwas über seine Geschichte erfahren und sich zumindest bei denen bedanken, die in PZL - Bielsko gearbeitet haben. Niemand hat dieses Gerät schnell erfunden. Respekt für die Konstrukteure und das technische Team.

Trying to :-) Last year I did not fly too much, unfortunately. looking forward to more airtime and maybe new videos in 2017 ...
Michail Hengstenberg how do you like your SZD55 ? I've all good things about this plane. How would say it compares to an ASW27? Thanks.
I love mine, has a lot of neat features compared to other standard class gliders and rigs fast and easy. ASW 27 is a flapped ship, but the 55 holds up to the ASW 24 pretty fine, I guess.
Michail Hengstenberg do you mean the asw27 has flaps in addition to elevons ?
Your wings look nice, have they been refinished? I recall the ones that came to the UK in the early 90s suffered a lot from skin distortion over the first years, few made it to the UK market as the Discus was cheaper then the LS8 became SC to have. I wonder if with later ones they improved the quality.
