In my classroom when the kids are enjoying their activity sometimes the teachers cutting them off from their activities because they said that they have to falling their routine, they provide10 minutes to each activity that is made confusing because you said and Maria Montesori said that you have to leave them alone as much as they want to do that activities so why this teacher confused the kids 😢

The problematic nature of any set philosophy is that it is very narrow minded in its narrative and not open to modifying, evolving, changing. Montessori is a complex and intelligent teaching method however it's not for all children and is rigid in many ways. Flexibility, receptiveness to change and open minded viewpoint is required, in my opinion.

Do you have any recommendations for regression? I just started taking care of my niece who turns 4 next month and because of the really unstable situation she has been in for so long she has regressed quite a bit. One thing she does is when she gets a new pull up sometimes will run directly to the bathroom and poop in it instead of the toilet. I feel that a lot of the advice in this video would feel to “babyish” to her. She does intellectually know what to do but I haven’t yet dug into the psychology of regression (on my to do list for today) so I’m not sure how to go forward. I have never had kids so any advice is greatly appreciated!

As a multi-age (up to 15-18mo) classroom teacher, how would you recommend incorporating the “puzzle Ball” or anything else suspended, with older children who are interested in pulling up on a (unstable!) suspension frame or pulling on a suspended mobile object?

How do you navigate a classroom that includes children of multiple ages, where such a mobile structure can be a falling hazard, if grasped by an older, non-walking child?

Great video. I have a question that yet i couldnt find an answer to. Im a montesori teacher my students are 2 and 3 years old and i cant get them to focus on any work for more that 5 seconds. All of them want me to work with them individually in order to finsh the work and if I'm helping one child the rest are taliking to me its a maddness and yet I can't find a way to help them nuturalize. I get your point. But how do we deal with the other child and make him/her understand that he/she can't have things as and when they want, that they have to wait their turn. Doesn't pulling them back on their natural urges (as a child) also hurt their confidence. Where do we strike the balance.
