Why take the hole thing out. The sensor is bolted to the top of that with one bolt.

thanks for posting, I had the front light burnt out on the same side as you showed on my ford focus, I followed the step by step and it was super easy, the best thing was that before doing it myself, I went to a mechanic to find out how much I it would cost to change a light bulb, and I was surprised when I said the price, $150 dollars if it was a simple model, but if it were a TDI I think it is this acronym it would cost $500 dollars, well I told him I don't think a ford engineer would put one $500 lamp in a compact car, I bought the lamp for $23 post tax and it was worth it.

The push on the tab part is a real pain in the ass and on the next headlight Change you should go into more detail on it

Rather incomplete information as you specifically need to clock the position of the housing depending on how many teeth are on the speedo gear you are using, There are more than 2 notches for the holding clamp, and the housing is marked for three different ranges of gear teeth. You totate the housing depending on which group your speedo gear falls into.

Why can't you just connect the bulb to the harness like how it came out? Do you have to put the bulb in and then connect it like you did?

Wanted to make sure if I put back in high beam bulb . It the body asssembly has two side silver colored tabs and a midle one . I put it back in lining the comnnector black tabs with them but the middle silver tab eas a problem . Finally i just pushed it in and now looks a lil loose . Have you done that one ? I need to do the other one too but I wnat to make sure I'm doing the right way . don't want to break the other one as well .
