The International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA) is the authority on fine art prints and their connoisseurship and collection.
Now with more than 160 members in thirteen countries, members of the IFPDA reflect a worldwide community of expert art dealers from old master to contemporary as well as publishers of editions by internationally renowned contemporary artists.
Through its network, online presence, and public programs, the IFPDA fosters knowledge and stimulates discussion about collecting prints in the public sphere and the global art community. The IFPDA Fine Art Print Fair, held annually in New York City, is the largest and most celebrated art fair dedicated to the artistic medium of printmaking. The annual IFPDA Book Award honors scholarly excellence and original research. The IFPDA also advances research, education, and dialogue for a new generation through its charitable Foundation.

Wonderful presentation.
My father Aleks Sprudzs worked for Northern Affairs from 1960/61 until Northern Affairs moved major offices to Yellowknife, and until his retirement in the mid 70's, he was with Indian Affairs. His heart's passion was cooperatives and helping people understand that this could be so beneficial to them for growth and expansion. As long as different elected governents had interests in this, this was what brought him to places like Cape Dorset / Kinngait, Frobisher Bay / Iqaluit, Grise Fiord, for a week or few weeks on end (flights were not as regular ) and as far as he was concerned, it was to have the locals move to being responsible for their co-ops. My father's name and his "boss" in the first years, Don Snowdon, are even mentioned un the WBEC in the history on line. Just in case anyone cares, the history spells my father's name incorrectly, as well as his ethnic origin. My father was Latvian, not Lithuanian. I am hoping to visit Kinngait in August/Sept 2024 and am hoping to be able to see the work continuing in the centre. My father would have been happy to see that it continues.
