From purely demographic perspective maybe. But there are other things that matter. And talking about Nigeria, they may have instability due to their demographics. Young people age 16-25 can be aggressive. Not always, not all, but if you have a lot of them, things may spiral. Their literacy rate is still lagging behind with 77%. Malnutrition in kids is still high by modern world standard. And they have wasting in kids which means kids brain development is affected. It's small percentage but still. Investment probably would be high risk - high return. Such countries may undergo very high economic growth, but have risk of violence: riots, revolutions, wars. So insuring safety and peace in the country is the biggest challenge and one of the priorities for the government. And they may have "global" pressure to behave so that they may not be able to face their challenges. Most countries have much older populations and older people are not prone to violence, breaking the law... So they may not understand Nigerian behavior
