Taking concepts and modeling them, solving them in the domain of the model, and then bring back result to real work.

Rather than "All complex systems are heirarcical" we may also state that it is essential for complex systems to be broken down to its components in heirarchy in order to understand it. It's our way to understand everything. So it will have to be similar across all the complex systems, whether natural, or human made.

Excellent lectures Mr. Das. Your efforts are really helpful for us who are not from premier institutes.
