It was problematic back in 2021, I have no idea if it’s still an issue today. Are you running into similar issues?

@@cloudnull yes i do get visual artifacting sometimes which requires me to restart the game

I run mine with a USB-A to dual USB-C cable. The Bluetooth is more than a little suspect.

It comes with extra keys for macOS. I just swapped them out and was off to the races.

You can download the eos utility from the canon website. You’ll need to go looking. Last time I needed to download the utility I got it from downloading an early version of the eos utility 3 which had version 2 bundles with it.

I use a cheap usb to hdmi capture card. I use a capture card because usb direct to the pc only provides 15-17 frames per second while the cheap usb capture card can do 30 frames per second.

@@cloudnull First of all thank you , this video helped me A LOT since my 650d was gathering dust and I didn’t have the budget for a good webcam . I’ve followed everything including installing ML. But can you provide me any specific settings for video or otherwise that I have to change from stock ML setting for streaming setup ? ( excluding the 30min off set ting )

While the live view will never give you a true 16:9, you can cycle through different modes by pressing the info button while in live view mode.

I’m not actually sure if the driver is still available. You might need to go hunting. Another thing you can do is download any version of the eos 2 utility, canon used to bundle it with early versions of the eos 3 utility. If you can get the old eos 2 utility you should be able to make it work.

Very comfortable. I wear my headphones all day at work so yes 6-8 hours no problem. As for the sound, hard to say. I didn’t notice any real change.

@@cloudnull My issue had something to do with the HDMI cable the shorter one just disconnected when the cable was at an angle, replaced it with a longer one and it works fine now An Annoying thing about this whole mess tho is I didn't realise how quickly the battery times out so had to reschedule my stream 😂😂

@@LyronAguiar they make a power adapter for the camera. I would highly recommend getting one. That way you don’t have to worry about the battery while you’re streaming.

I appreciate you making a new thread; the old one was getting a little long. Now I'm confused. I’ve literally shown the Talon canopy working if you take the Wanderer paint off, provided links to the bug reports, and written a blerb covering the issues. I’m not sure where you think I’ve lied 🤔? The only thing I can think of is that you’ve missed something again and while this may be a new thread, I think we’re back to square one with your known skill Issues. I’d recommend re-reviewing what we covered in the original shit post thread you started. All in all, due to the fantastic community support, the viewport bug is confirmed on the issue council and will hopefully be fixed in the next patch. Get better soon. ❤️‍🩹

Yup a friend in our org got the talon shrike with the same paint job and it’s working fine. Sadly the issue is just with the warbond special (the one I got 😞) which comes with the wanderer paint job and is pre-equipped.

I’m curious how you’ve been enjoying the Talon and what loadout you’ve been running with? I swapped to s4 repeaters but I’m on the fence if I like it.

@@cloudnull I run the s4 repeaters as well but also enjoy the laser cannons, but to me for solo PvE I prefer the repeaters over the cannons, my buddy got a talon as well, and I think when we were both running cannons and jumping the npcs one by one they popped pretty quick, but I think I'll stick with repeaters in either situation... Man I love how nimble that ship is, I feel like I can fly circles around anything, I hate how fast it runs out of fuel, and that is my only complaint, it's also good for bunker runs, and I like that it has a gun rack, also i have had no issues with anything up to a vhrt in it or pairs, we didn't have enough fuel to kill the hammerhead in an ert lol we fought that bastard until we ran out of fuel

@@639wheeler nice. Fight to the very last drop of fuel!! I went with the Rhinos, but I think I’m going to give attritions a spin just to see how it goes. I also picked up an atlas to make sure I can get around the verse, but crusader to microtech is cutting it a little close 😃

@@cloudnull I got an atlas as well and all military parts I think it the fr66 shield is 300 power plant and I forget the coolers... I've never tried attritions before, lol I put Rino's on mine as well because I had a spare pair fun my Corsair when I went back to fixed repeaters on it

For sure. It was just a bummer. Now if they could fix the paint reapplying and duplicating after claiming I’d be a super happy camper 🫠

I'd be curious if you fly the ship and what load out you run with? So far tooling around in the ship has been a lot of fun but I'm still playing with load outs, trying to figure out what works best.

@@cloudnull recently I'm trying the full ballistic cannon loadout on the Sabre and is amazing, it's a little bit that I don't use the talon, but by now i find ballistic cannons to be so satisfying., so I'll probably stick with them also with the talon, very good hit and run ship!

It’s a lot of fun to fly but 💯 the stance is pretty aggressive (idk that’s intentional from cig?).

What’s your goto ship in the verse?

@@cloudnull absolutely it is not. I have analyzed(?) the hull a lot and everything on the ship design wise says that it is wrong. Shrike was my goto... then Ion was my goto.. but they love fckin up my ships... so now i fly vulture and cutter and nomad... whatever i feel like takin out

@@chikokishi7030 I feel that. My go to is (was?) the hawk, but it’s a bit wonky right now. I’ve also enjoyed running around in an andromeda this patch, but it’s always a gamble if the Merlin is going to work 🤪 so I too just fly whatever tickles my fancy.

I’m only a couple years into sc but I’d say I’m used to it now ;) This issue was kinda a bummer. Alien week deal on the talon, nice paint, fun ship added to my fleet. Sadly the ship doesn’t work with the paint. Once you’re reading comprehension is good enough (let's say grade 4), click the link for the issue counsel report. Assuming you’re not gaming on wifi, the bug report should help you understand how the ship is broken and why the Wanderer paint is a problem. SMH… n00b.
