Yea it was too dangerous for the kids so we took it in turns. One of us did the hike while the other watched the kids. But next one will be taking the kids again 😀

There are two routes to Tumpak Sewu. Via Lumajang or Malang. For via Malang, the more extreme route has lots of steep iron stairs. Meanwhile via Lumajang, the track is more friendly for children and the elderly.
That’s correct. We found out the hard way. Although had we not been with the kids, Malang would have been a very enjoyable trail. 🙏

Damn, my guide broke his leg so I could not do Bromo last month, but seeing this video it looks so damn touristic. If you guys wanna do a more local and less crowded mountain, Kerinci is absolutely amazing, affordable and the highest volcano in Indonesia. Another cool hike is Merapi north of Yogya; it's the most active volcano in Indonesia so you can see lava flowing out of it every 5th minute kind of like the volcanos on Hawaii. Absolutely stunning. Safe travels fellas!

When i goes to institute, theres tradition of 'senior' to 'junior', you know what i mean. We goes to camp and have activity. It is on Cuban Rondo its a camp site. Theres waterfall not too big, but the water is very clean, and cool. Near from there its where the Aqua company took the water to sold in a bottle. Theres lot of leech on the waterfall so prepare some cigarette, to off the leech. Its a good memory, with friend, camp and burn cassava at cold dawn.

@@Family-of-travels Search in google map: "Coban Rondo Campground" Its famous for camping. At that time (2002), our camping position with the waterfall is like half hour walking so its pretty near.

Tumpak sewu terlalu berbahaya jika membawa anak anak, airnya juga kotor, jika ingin menikmati air terjun, datanglah ke kota bogor, dibogor banyak air terjun yang airnya seperti pertalite😂biru kehijauan😂
