stupid question how can we change the time interval for rational method?
How to do it the surface call it "Overall FG"? What is this surface?
Wow, how can your drawing in 3d view so beautiful, what kind of setting, can u share with us
I'm blown away by this. Thank you for sharing! Stumbled across this by accident while adding spot elevations in a drawing where I have an XREF for the base plan info, and a data shortcut so I can work with the surface. Couldn't understand why there were TWO options for a target surface, even though I only had the one (data shortcut) surface in the drawing. So you can label an XREF... Is there no situation where you would want to XREF and data shortcut a surface from the same drawing? Is that completely pointless? EDIT: Okay aftrer a glance at the Autodesk help section, and a quick test in my drawing, it appears that you can label 3D info from an XREF, but you cannot build 3D data from it - for example , I was unable to create a surface profile from the XREF surface. Here's a link explaining that a bit. help.autodesk.com/view/CIV3D/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-E91517ED-631F-40F7-9DC9-6F629D9F24DC
I would only data shortcut a surface into my sheet drawings if I intend on changing styles. Like a slope analysis drawing or something. Otherwise, just having the XREF works great.
It should also be noted that using the double quotation marks is STRONGLY discouraged. Use double apostrophes instead or you may crash your CAD later...

How to open .Net created subassemblies .pkt files in the Subassemblies Composer?
Not sure where are the costume .pkt files are to import them to another file, this step is missing
You have to create them.
Hi, your video is so good, but breaks at Part 1, seccond half, no Part 2 video, so can you check it all and re-upload for us? Thanks and see you soon, I hope, regards from New Zealand :)
I didn't realize I was listening at 0.75 speed and just thought the presenter was drunk 😂 Just teasing... thank you so much for posting this!!
It seems it didn't delineate the full catchment area? It looks to be missing a piece on the "northern" side??
Check out the "Stage Storage basin" tool in my free tools package here.. Makes this process way easier... Polyline -> surface -> interval -> done.. ceethreedee.com/ceethreedee-tools
Hi Thanks for the video. I've watched a few videos of pond creation in civil 3d and one thing I find odd which is common among all the videos is that the pond is created randomly and then the volume is calculated afterwards. This is not how it's done in reality. As designers we first determine the attenuation volume required and then we set off to design the required pond. So the question that the videos are not answering is, how do you design a pond of a desired volume in civil 3d?
I get that. There is no option in Civil 3D, maybe grading optimization? Point of the video, done 6 years ago, was simple show grading and analyze volumes using the given tools. I've done hundreds of ponds in reality, many times starting with an approximate area, grade a pond, check volume and adjust accordingly.
@@shawnherring3162 Alright noted. Thank you.
i would like to mask the profile as well at that spot
What if there is no "import Subassemblies" in that drop down?
thank you so much
I tried to create the stage storage table, but an error pops up saying “no surfaces were selected”.
Hi, could you please disable "RUclips Kids Mode" on your videos - I cannot save them to a playlist because of that! Thank you!
Your video is clear and concise. Not like others that over complicated things by making more phases. In construction drawings there's demolition plan and renovation plan. I appreciate your videos and shared it.
You are really really brilliant Sir. Its really help me. But i need your help. If dont mind, so please, let me know how to get the Bridge Modeller. Enjoy your day sir
Anyone tried Insert or opening a IFC in Revit 2022? Think Revit no longer supports this. File opens in BIMvision 100%....
Thank you for posting this.
thank you, ur information so important
what type software are you using please let me know
Big damn deal Chris. It's a 10 year old video and just a quick example. Care to show any of your genius insights?? Don't like it, simply move along.
Where did you get the shepefile(.shp?)?
how to drop down the curb in a situation like this? i have a pedestrian crossing there....
When I drop the file, the parcel doesn't open up.
Same here, video was useless after 0:44
how to download bridge modeler?
Hi, thank you for your video. I was wondering how could I change the elevation of pound crest maintaining constant elevation of pounds bottom. I'll be very thankful for your responce
Thank you Sir, you are nice sharing with us. But may I get your Civil Structures Revit extension please. If dont mind please into my email dionbatari333@gmail.com. have a good day sir. Or tell me how can I get it
Is it normal practice to model kerb returns to the left in the USA? I have always been told to model direction or travel. Being from Australia/UK - model left
That was an impressive display. Your mini-subdivision was a snap! Thanks for the video!
Very clear and easy to follow.
When I do that and then trying to extract corridor section report it only gives me the main region without the curb nor the daylight offset and elevation why is that ?
Is there a way to allow rotation for a bearing and distance label?
In the dragged state, specifically.
Thanks a lot
Peefect
how can i convert my existing road from A-CAD TO PKT file ? when i browse i dont have files or assembleys like u do. tnx in advance
Boring!..not showing tools/commands is using
you're watching a 7 year old video, no need to be a dick about it
Hi. At 1:16 you say you should have done other sizes too. How would you go about doing that? Do you need to model each and every size in autocad?
Thank you.. so much, uploading this video. its helpful
How do you have the contours?
can you make a tutorial on different dimension styles (e.g dim 20, dim 50, dim 100) with different text heights, then creating the viewports with different scales in such a way that on the print out all the text height is 2.5 mm.Thank you.
Super.
Dear sir can you send me bridge modler extension for me please please send. I want to learn my email ID is vikasjuyal297@gmail.com Thanking you
Nice clean video. Thanks.
