Will this build work on the first new game plus?

i know this video is a year old but if anyone reads this, is 500 the max and then you invest on the other stats or is 500 overkill, i'm currently in 504 luck and 400 plus on both offense and defense, is there a cutting point for the luck stats where if you go over a certain amount you get diminishing return?
