Chester was born on the last day of the Pisces sign but also had traits of the Aries sign as well. Pisces is a water sign and Aries is a fire sign. With the Somewhere I Belong music video it is done as if Chester is dreaming the video. It is directed by Joe Hahn and was the first single released from Meteora. Joe Hahn directed the Breaking the Habit music video as well. In fact he went to Japan to help with some of the work on the anime for the video. Mike Shinoda wrote Breaking the Habit not for Chester but it was about a friend he had in high school who ditched his high school friends. The song hit Chester hard and it was hard for him to record the song and also sing the song on stage for the first time. It was somewhat a wake up call that he needed to break his drug and alcohol addiction.

Fun Fact: The studio which animated "Breaking the Habit" is done by none other than Studio Gonzo which also did for the animation sequences for "Kill Bill" and "Super Street Fighter 4" endings. This studio also brought anime such as "Afro Samurai", "Gantz" and "Hellsing".

Not sure if you covered those already, but i cant find the new songs from the 20th anniversary album of meteora. If so i highly recommend checking those out (lost, fighting myself, more the victim, healing foot and massive. Not sure how u feel abt instrumentals, if u like that style u can also give resolution and wesside a try). Same goes for most bonus tracks, especially blackbirds from a thousand suns tends to get overlooked. There are also bonus tracks for minutes to midnight being no roads left and across the line. I also highly recommend to the most recent additions to the official catalog with friendly fire being a track they created for the one more light album but in the end didnt quite make it. The other song is qwerty, both were released earlier this year. For qwerty u might wanna listen to the live version first, since it, at least for me, does sound more powerful than the studio version. Hope these suggestions help and u have fun with these songs :D

I see you're doing a lot of albums for Linkin Park. But a few of their songs they only did live. As well as the songs they came out with after chesters passing that never made it kn the albums that they are now releasing on RUclips are good finds as well. The 2 songs they only did live was qwerty, and their remake of adele's rolling in the deep, both really powerful. And qwerty is probably their most technically difficult song chester sung because of all the quick transitions between screaming and singing.

You do realìze mike shinoda was the driving force behind linkin park right? The beats, the instrumentals, the production. Everything. He worked with chester for all the lyrics past hybrid theory. Because the songs for hubrid theory were already made before chester joined the group. So yeah, of course some of fort minor sounds reminiscent of linkin park, because they have the same talent and producer behind them

late to the party, but just have to comment - since you said "imagine them opening a concert with this track" I was lucky enough to be at one of their shows back in 07, they opened the show with Wake behind a massive curtain, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life!

As someone who grew up listening to LP, all of their songs hits me deep inside-- ew. That sounded wrong. But what I meant to say is that their songs just give me a sense of 'they know how I feel' every single song.

You should listen to Mike Shinoda's album Post Traumatic after Chester's death , it's an incredible work. Its lyrics represent the mourning of losing a friend and how to cope with that, it is an incredible album

You schould check "Amends" album by Gray daze. It was a first band of Chester.
