Festina Chrono Bike Ghost Rider F16289 it's a big one, more of a vintage model and from the times Festina was into sports. Now the company changed more into fashion and accessories, that is a marketing strategy that can add more income but the hardcore watch enthusiast will not agree with. Seiko - SGG727P1 - Titanium

Seiko - SGG727P1 - Titanium it's a casual / sports quartz watch. It's an older model bought as a second hand, with the Citizen from the first episode and the Tissot PR50 - it makes my titanium trio. One could argue that I can sell them all and buy a decent automatic titanium watch and I can agree - this is why I bought a Boderry in titanium. Cadisen C-8199G

Cadisen is a chinese watch company founded in 2013 and I never thought I would enjoy their watches. I've got my first one 4 years ago and liked it so much that after two years made me buy another one. A mix of Panerai homage and some other inspiration made this one look good and far more expensive for the price point asked. Value is there, specs are great and there is little to argue against it...

Certina. The only negatives: 19mm lug width - but there's 19mm rubbers, natos & if titanium ( or steel ) you're probably not going to remove it. Also, the movement has to be exchanged ( it's cheaper & sustained) by Certina/Swatch group - for next 20 /30 years (!), it should be fine. Positive- many but antimagnetic for good price - see Hamilton Jazzmaster also for same reaso but different design.

Really like this watch. I have a Seiko Sport SNZG for seven years which has now stopped working. I’ll have it repaired probably but like this Swiss Military watch as an alternative. Very solid design, love the date at 18:00hrs position.

Lorus is not competitive at any price point. Cheaper ones are beaten by Casios and more expensive ones (the automatics with Y676 movements, no hacking or handwinding) are being crushed by cheaper Orient 3 stars (more accurate movements) and even by Bambinos and Rays (these last ones with newer movements and hacking and handwinding). And the fixed bezel fake-divers from Lorus are an absolute insult, especially when you can get divers with real rotating bezels from Casio at the same prices.

Cracker watch, so legible at a glance. I prefer this movement over the powermatic version. I searched around for one and got one with the 2801-2, absolutely great piece. Love winding it in the morning when I start my day, don’t worry about the plastic mainspring snapping and I think the 38 hour power reserve is a fair trade off when you look at potential service costs on the 80 hour movement. Nice, concise review. Good job!!

Rebel, I have the exact same watch (along with the enlisted man's version, with the old ETA 2804-2 and the 2801-2. They're not chronometers, but they keep time within +/- 5 seconds per day. What can I say; I love Hamilton watches.

I agree wholeheartedly, John. I also own the ETA version, which I much prefer due to the higher beat rate. This Officer, as well as my regular ETA Khaki Mechanical, maintain excellent time, as you have said.

Nowhere near as nice as my Seiko 5 SRPG29K1. Why this watch needs to have 5 10 15 20 25 30... around the OUTside, I have NO idea, but it looks horrible! I don't think you'll see that on a Citizen!! Also, mine is 100m WR, as this one is only 30m WR, which is poor. Plus, you SHOULD be able to wind it, if it's an Automatic. And you don't need that crap 'music' in the background.

Aye, thank you for the feedback - as mention in the video SNK807 was 10 years ago around 60$ - comparing it to a 260$ is just for fun but not logical. I've paid 100$ for it so the only thing in comon with the model you mention is the brand - and the mineral, strange how they doubled the price yet no upgrade to the glass. Will edit better the music for the backgroud. Thanks.
