Michal, the humble Chapter Serf, but also the Hierophant of Repentance’s Master of Whispers, held suspicions about Archbishop Zephanius and has begun investigating dark rumors in the alleys of Void Station Sheol. But when the darkness seeks to halt his investigation, Lord Chaplain Exantis orders the deployment of a Phobos Strike Team to rescue Michal. Enemy contact is a certainty. But what foe awaits them?

The Prologue and Ep 1 are up already. Ep 2 is on the way!
I played a scenario from this with my gf and a mate. We took 1000pts each (Marines/Sisters/Admech), and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We ended up facing a force 25% bigger than our own (as is standard with these scenarios), and because I own a huge amount of endless multitudes, most of our kills kept coming back next turn. This made the game delightfully tense and cinematic, as we were fighting tooth and nail to take and hold objectives without drowning under the xenos tide. ❤
Makes it really feel like you're making a stand against the overwhelming horde, just like what we read about in the lore. Glad you both enjoyed this mode!

Go for it! I definitely intend to do a video about writing narratives one of these days. It's actually 50% science, so even those who don't feel they are creative can write a good narrative.
To be honest I think the sound effects can be toned down, the marine steps are cool once or twice, but every time it gets annoying quick, and as much as I love Dawn of War the voicelines are a bit unecessary if it makes editing quicker

You can! Writing for narrative is actually 50% creativity, 50% science. I am definitely keen to do a video purely about writing narratives one of these days. It's a really deep, but systematic process.

Was waiting for the chaplain to have a biting retort about governing. "I may not know much about governing, but I am a master of war and that's what you have on your hands now."
I might do a scriptwriting breakdown of these scenes one of these days. It'll be fun to explain how I write each of the characters' lines and what they are trying to convey. Perhaps I'll do that midway through the series :)

Very cool narrative game. The one thing I would say is that the sound effect you use on the token/order placement is a little grating for something that happens quite a lot. Maybe a softer click noise would be better. Other than that though, loved it and can't wait till the next one!

"The closest most expensive unit" Meaning straight for the most expensive unit? Or does that mean the closest unit and choosing the most expensive to break ties?
It will check for the closest, breaking ties by the most expensive and eligible unit. So for example Zoanthropes. If you had a 150pts infantry unit in front, a 180pt tank in the middle, and a 350pt Knight out of range at the back, they would shoot the tank. They won’t go out of their way to attack something further back if there’s a suitable target in front of them.

Definitely will. Sadly the first few episodes were filmed using the Boarding Actions index rules. But the final few episodes haven’t been filmed yet, so the new BA rules might just release in time for that.
@@CrusadeHouse Oh I had figured ad much and I'm certainly not knocking you for it. In fact, it will provide an interesting comparison for improvements the official rules bring and their support for crusade vs the index rules. Should be fun.
