It's very easy to downshift. I can't rev match either. The slipper clutch helps with the smooth downshifting

Great choice! I had never ridden on a motorcycle before, and I chose the 300NK as my first bike. I have gotten to ride for about a week now and I will say the 300NK is a lot of fun. I know I'm having fun.

is the insurance cheaper than the ss?

@burgash0t914 is the same cost for the SS. FYI, for the Cfmoto 450SS with Geico and Progressive, it would have cost $1,351.00 for a year. But for the 450nk, it is $586 for a year. I live in the state of North Carolina. I did a quote for the Cfmoto 800nk, and that would have cost $589.95 per year.

I'm getting about 65 miles per gallon. The 300nk would be enough for you. I weight around 265 lbs.

I'm 240lb, typically have a good amount of gear and equipment on me, and I'm getting like 85mpg, but I'm also putting some highway miles on it cruising in 6th. I'd still expect like 60mpg at least on country roads and city driving

I appreciate that, I finished with my MSF course this past weekend. It was fun and lots of information. Went Monday and got my endorsement.

Over here I had to get my permit before I could ride on the road (with certain conditions) then take the M test as many times as it takes til I passed. Took me two tries! What's the process like where you're at?

​@JollyMotoNK I took it at Pitt Community College in North Carolina. I got my motorcycle permit in January, and then I signed up for the MSF course for March

@@PoPoRides gotcha! I'm up in PA, haven't taken the MSF but have a lot of smaller dirtbike/ebike experience, so it feels like I've just slowly stepped up over the years. Would you recommend the MSF to every motorcyclist, or just new riders, or maybe don't recommend it at all?

@JollyMotoNK I would HIGHLY recommend every rider, new or well experienced to take the course.

Next time I ride, I'll go faster than 45 mph

@vennomrides107 it's a 292cc motorcycle, and it's not fast at all, but since I'm a beginner rider. It's the right choice for me until I get experience in riding. To me, it's worth it. I would suggest going to the local cfmoto dealer and sit on one

​@@PoPoRidesI feel ya. Great idea to start on a smaller bike. I learned on a Kawasaki Z125 and loved riding it. I put over 12k miles in my 1st year. I sold it and regretted it so I bought another one. I also have a 2022 MT-07 and it's perfect. I would suggest looking into that bike whenever ur ready to upgrade. @vennomrides107 appreciate that, I have been looking towards a Yamaha MT-07 for my next motorcycle after a year or so. When I took my MSF course the weekend before last , my training motorcycle was a Benelli TNT 135. That was a fun little bike.

Im about to buy one. Ive had a cbr1000, r6 and an fz09. Ive always had more fun on slow bikes going fast than fast bikes going slow.
