Why do you need 2 boards?
I use one board when practicing kicking :) Here, I use two boards to increase the difficulty of this exercise. I hope this helps ! You can also do this drill with one board.

Hey, as a swimmer I love your videos, but although you are doing really good, I would try and keep your head a bit closer to your arms on your streamline, keep up the great work tho :))
I was gonna say-it seems the head might be causing drag-that then thought it would be rude or something. This might be peculiar to backstroke or done with the intent of going up to the surface.
Oh no! Thank you so much for noticing and the advice. I think after a minor nose injury, I have always adjusted my head to stop the water from going in. :( I may try the nose plug :/

Everyone can learn to swim 25 m with one breath. The rest is psychology.
Hey, what is pb? I can swim 50m, but the ease part definitely wears off towards the end 😅

@@swim_with_lizzy Pb means personal best in freedivers sense (I'm a chemist so it means lead too, haha). In what stroke? Breastroke, free kick, dolphin kick, or you can do in all three?

Any advice to help with sinking legs during the drills? Particularly when breathing on the first drill and side swimming?
Definitely, make sure that you have the kick down before trying these exercises. Another option is to use flippers to practice these drills. For only kicking, I made a video on: - helping sinking legs: ruclips.net/user/shortsbzO3Hif6ODw - making sure your hips do not sink: ruclips.net/user/shortsO264HKu6iRs To summarize for kick: make sure your hips are not sinking, your ankles are loose, you are not dropping your knees (bicycle riding), you are kicking from your hips. When side-breathing: get comfortable with kicking on your side & then rotating will be smoother!
More on synchronised swimming please. I wasn't able to find much of substance on it on RUclips.

I cannot seem to get this kick! It’s very hard for me to glide at all!
You'll get it! It comes SO naturally to some people (it did not to me)😂 For the glide part just straight & squeeze your legs together & point your toes a bit. Lmk how it goes :)

Hey, for sure. Kick with your whole leg & feel your body rotating as you do so. Make sure your head is looking straight down at the ground so your body does not sink. Lastly, try to have someone film you so you can see if you are bending your knees :) hope it helps! happy swimming!
