It doesn't work any more. You will have the warning sign as long as you are close to the island. But if you are not spotted collecting items or hitting pals, you should be fine. So, if you see any PIDF, do not do anything. Just leave the island and you should be fine.

An update since ruined this :( Can't get close, no matter what. Even at night when people say the guards sleep. Nope. I even tried dropping my lantern, and eventually got off my Suzaku and tried sneaking. NOTHING works anymore and based on too much experience you get WANTED very very quickly after, and you either exit the game or die because they just keep spawning soldiers, about 3m under water, and inside your home. I literally swam underneath something and got criminal activity in a spot nobody could see me. I experimented and it's consistent. Swim out a bit in full view, criminal activity gone. What were they thinking? Games shouldn't hate you :(

248 days? Do you know how many hours total played? I just leveled a sorceress to 100 in 3 weeks +/-. Played 2-3 hours per day on average.

I used to play this game a lot. Loved it. The hackers were a big problem and the devs could had done more. But stuff happens. Still I had many happy memories with my friends playing this :D
