There are plenty of people who sincerely live their lives to honor God and may have a bumper sticker that says they love Jesus, openly talk about Christ and lovingly correct others if they are engaging sinful behaviors (i.e., stealing, adultery, lying). It is more than ok to listening to christian music, read your Bible in public and say Jesus's name in front of a camera. It is these same people, that earnestly live for God, who the world would call religious. They are authentic!

Religious isn't opposite of authentic.

the problem today is: the faith that we know from the bible is no longer socially acceptable. So what we need to do is to socialize the faith. When we do that all people can become christians and noone needs to go to hell.

Not sure I would be able to play Jesus in anything because I would just stare at Him in all His Glory...

@bluesette82 dude can we just stop this conversation srry but It's kinda dragging on anyway I think the world has more truth then any book. Everything I can sense seems to have some purpose that can be found through a scientific mindset. Perhaps I could accept Christianity if it did not differ so much and was so muddled with uncertainty. May Peace be in your heart to me means may you think beyond instinct and consider compassion as compassion is ultimately greater then love. as love may blind.

@bluesette82 a life filled with torment and suffering and then a eternity of suffering(regardless if you go to heaven or not) If god loved us he would NOT make us live for eternity. Life has no meaning without a end.

The only proof the bible is true is that the bible says it is true. So I think god does not exist. If he did exist he would be a ASSHOLE. He seems to have no affection for us if that is the case. If it hurts god to do so then why not change the world so he does not have to bring pain on himself?

If god sometimes gives you free will and other times controls you then what was the point of adam and eve? Did he learn his lesson that free will is bad for humans?

@bluesette82 Splitting the sea was def. and became off..Defensive shields of battle became offensive when they were shined like mirrors to blind their enemy. The most powerful weapon, I think, was Jesus Christ. He lived a defensive life but died an offensive death. He conquered death so we don't have to die to be saved. So, wheather it's a shield,sandals,helmet,breastplate,sword,etc. If God wants it to be a defensive or offensive weapon, who's to say no... Peace2u

Learn the Difference, i beleived in Jesus 5 years ago, but with a religious spirit. and now i still believe in him but without that religious mind/heart. so what im saying is Jesus Wasnt Religious, Hes relationship. Jesus like desecrated a church. doesnt that show that theres religious churches, but religiosity is not the way?
