Yeah I was super excited about the collar exploration too!! I've since wore them under T-shirts and other blouses, so it's even more versatile

Hmm most of the time... I lay something that fits flat on the ground and trace it 🤔 then I make modifications that I want and hope for the best 😅

Thank you! Glad you like it, it was honestly very fun to pull out this project and give it another spotlight because a friend was inspired to create something amazing in a medium I wasn’t planning to explore before. This project definitely wouldn’t have come alive without many minds collaborating 🥰

Hehe yeah there's too many options!! I couldn't chose until I chanced upon leavanny's story, then there's no other option :p maybe there's a Pokémon back story that you can relate to and chose from there 😁

@@Oki.J I love that it can be a unique connection to characters that causes people to cosplay. Maybe inosuke from demon slayer- he speaks to that gender fluid part of me- but I don't think I have the body for it though!(I am curvy) I love jessie and James, machamp was the first pokemon I fell in love with as a kid, I love psyduck, gengar and slowpoke, but leavany is so sweet and dear and so many pokemon are! I'm definitely watching pokemon this evening :3 I think I will feel guilty to the other characters I love no matter who I cosplay as first haha Sorry for long reply, what other character are you thinking about cosplaying?

I wanted to cos dollightful's leafeon (another RUclipsr) and I have ideas for venusaur Leavanny is my first cosplay, but actually I use to make doll clothes so I made a few designs already. I made decidueye and all 3 versions of Lycanroc and gogoat. And er magicarp? (You can find them on tumblr with the handle oki-doll) I see you like simpler designed Pokémons! They make really casual everyday clothes since they are mostly just one colour one shape! Then it's easier to pick your favourite colour!!! But I'd say slowpoke has very exciting possibility for expansion!! With a pink base you can just add accessories and become any one of the evolutions!! There's so many now

I was looking for inspiration (thanks to you) and saw genimosters slowpoke cos and your inspiring me to go for it!! If not slowpoke/slowking with the cute chunky tail and the clown collar-which I would wear in daily life ♥ maybe senshi from dungeon meshi-have you seen it? Also after looking for inspiration I realised body type doesn't really matter in cosplay! I have a psyduck hat wearing all yellow as a causal psyyy I can't wait to see your designs and venussaur cosplay!! Might be my favorite grass type: has such sweet story's! Must be a creative design as humans are very different shape to bulbasaurs haha I need to look up your gogoat and magicarp!!! Are thinking about doing a video showing off all you cosplay? (I haven't seen all your videos yet) Decidueye and lycanroc are too cool for school, I usually go for goofy and/or kawaii pokemon with those simpler designs Do you play pokemon video game, cards or collate cards at all? Aah oh no.. I grabbed a pattern from a previous project.. which was traced from an existing Peter pan collar I own Video: ruclips.net/video/SkJcPASBtxc/видео.htmlsi=q5s3HbnSgtZBX7Dy You can trace the curve of the neckline and draft your own Peter Pan collar from there… a Peter Pan collar can be any shape really as long as the neckline curves similarly to the shirt it’s going to be attached to. It sound easy and it can be, but getting a nice swoop on the collar can take a few tries so don’t give up ><

Omg you adore my editing?? That gives me great comfort, because I always feel like I could have done better.. the reason why I post anyway is because I rather have the video journey, than wait for myself to be good at it first (who knows how long that would take) Go for it!! I wish nothing but joy and wonder in your sewing journey! To be honest I find hand sewing very doable for beginners because you don't need complicated gadgets/ machine and can still make great stuff!

For the blouse? Yeah I feel like that one is easy enough to do a tutorial on!!! Should put it on the list of things to do!
