Thank you
People want to live in a real community and depend on each other....capitalism doesnt allow that.
Ignore the idiots, Dr Taylor.
That's my Professor! So rad!! I feel inspired to check out the flight simulator.

Bauer... He's what Eureka needs, still.
Thanks guys!
Great interview but did I miss anything about Gaza protests?
Hello! Starting at 02:07 there is a short news story about an individual throwing paint at people during a protest/demonstration earlier this week.
Excellent Program!!!
First, this is BOLD journalism, for the interviewer’s stance on the matter. Next, not exactly a challenging interview this week, but James brings a valuable perspective to the press table. I would just say that this episode does not challenge the narrative as presented by proponents of Prop 36. Perhaps an opposing perspective will be offered, and voters can determine what the stakes are from both angles.
This was very touching, thanks for doing this.
Great show! Thank you to James, and great work, Magnus! Proud to contribute to both.
Would love to be much closer to the canopy (I have read the wonderful book "The Wild Trees") but my acrophobia would kick in and I'd be useless. Just thinking "I gotta get back on the ground NOW!"
Great show!
Glad to be back as a freelancer for Headline Humboldt! (Donations REALLY matter!) Thank you James and the team!
Extremely apt and topical.
This was an awesome episode, thank you for this reporting.

I really admire this man as a scientist.👍
loved it! now I have to go make dinner. i'm hungry!
Beautiful "Soup's On" interview!
So much respect for Dr. Taylor. He's a great scientific representative to be involved in current events, especially what is being researched at SWR.
Really, he’s worried about racism and being labeled other when he’s a rascist himself calling every Hispanic (also minorities) he sees “ese” and decides murdering them “is the noble thing to do”for his gang?!? Dude last thing u need to worry about is being labeled other knowing you’re ASSASSIN. (Of a 14yr old) SMH!
Dr. Taylor is a fascinating professor. I would love for him an Eric Weinstein to discuss the UFO topic.
And more brain power than all of those skeptics combined. Plus it's just a cool dude.
Honsal, you think disregarding press protections per cA law was the right thing to do? Amazing. Is that why you apologized to at least 2 journalists that night who were forcibly detained and prevented from doing their work that night? Why were police kettling all other press off campus with threat of force? This is an irresponsible reaction from HSO, and it will not stand. Our students and our community deserve better. They deserve competent and critical local media coverage, at a MINIMUM.
Amazing comments made by Honsal. Ok - so the Sherrif does not want responsibility for the ‘BOINK’ moment where HSO, EPD, and Uni police all converged on the doorway at Siemens Hall - see my video of the original footage…
Cal Poly 4-22-24 viral footage: Police clash with protesters inside Cal Poly Humboldt: FIGHT WITH POLICE & WATER JUG GOES VIRAL ruclips.net/video/jGE3M6rxW_o/видео.html
I wish I had been contacted for this coverage, seeing as I was the only local reporter there before, during and after the occupation. I would have loved the opportunity to chime in on the matter of the police reaction, wherein our local sheriff failed to set protocol for officers encountering press, despite being a “constitutional” sheriff. It’s nice that Honsal outlines the timeframe here, for reference, but there are discrepancies in how the response is articulated here, and how it unfolded in reality. See my videos for comparison. Alternative question: WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT NOT RESPECTING PRESS RIGHTS PER CA 409.7 WHILE STORMING THE CAMPUS? (Answer: they did not educate police about press rights, resulting in local media being kettled off scene, preventing media oversight or coverage of the incident) So, we are all going to have to take his word for this because there were no Press people allowed to witness over 20 arrests that were conducted that evening after Press and any observers at all or kettle off of the scene forcibly by over 200 police from out of the area, called by your local sheriffs department here.
This guy is so full of himself. Continues to be a narcissist
It's refreshing to know that people really do care about the health of our rivers, creeks and streams...
Corruption & indoctrination by administration and faculty that has lasted over 50 years. President Jackson is doing his best to remove the corruption and brainwashing !
The administration and its faculty have been indoctrinated with a most radical form of evil for over the last 50 years !
This guy is so full of himself. Crying about how unfair growing up has been for him. There are many people that grew up being a minority with immigrant parents surrounded by violence and they didn’t become gang bangers or murderers. People don’t wanna hear sob stories from a murderer. Focus on why your there instead and the damage you must have caused everyone.
My dad went to this, and he hasn't stopped talking about it!
Seriously nice to see the local television station keep up such a consistent show like this. James has done an excellent job hosting these segments.
Almost every property with some acreage has google earth showing hoop style greenhouses with clear cuts.
I figured there is something fishy about the low cost of property in Humboldt.
Great interview Frankie! Don’t forget about beavers. Beavers need to be restored as well.
You are awesome Tracy Barnes-Priestly
Great knowledgeable commentary by the wonderful Katie Texas! <3
There is however one criticism I need to add. On day 3, one team was misidentified as being Shifts and Giggles, whereas it was actually Cloudy with a Chance of clowns. ( I knew this because it was correctly identified on day 2 by the the Keet commentators.)
It was great, since I couldn't be there this year, and have been going to the race for over 35 years. I just wish the keet coverage would have gone on longer on the Ferndale finish day. (day three) as the broadcast stopped before even half of the sculptures arrived at the finish line.. I know that makes for a long show, but wouldn't that be possible? Anyway, so glad it's being covered., iconic Humboldt County experience rich with race history and lore, shared by Keet. Makes me proud to be a supporter.
Hello! We too wish we could record longer. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the race we are unable to stream/broadcast until every last racer has crossed the finish line.
Moooo!
Great coverage of a crowd, but where are the kinetic sculptures???😮
Yes! Friends on the dunes!
