Before you change any sensors , unplug the electrical connector and spray it with "ELECTRONICS CLEANER" .This way if the problem does not clear up , then you know it's the sensor . As a matter of fact , clean ALL of the electrical connectors that are associated with the transmission before replacing any sensor . Dirt prevents good electrical contact .

Will this leak out all transmission fluid when pulls out of transmission?

Your supposed to remove the center console it’s 4 bolts and pull the seats then carpet. DO NOT CUT YOUR CARPET…😂

My 2005 cruiser will be shifting fine then out of nowhere on the hi way it will drop gears throw me forward and scare the hell out of me. Has probably happened 25 times the last few months! I pray this is the problem an i can get it fixed because it only has 60k miles and used cars are going for so much right now it's crazy!

Great video 📹 👍 Your advice saved me several hundreds of dollars. Got the speed sensor for under $25.00 part# 917601 Dorman O'Reilly's That's the output shaft speed sensor. The input shaft sensor is #917-602 $21.99 O'Reilly's Both sensors have limited lifetime warranty. Thank you kindly for making this video. The check engine light gave codes P0700 and P0882. Their was never any code for the speed sensor. Nevertheless it was the culprit that was causing the codes to set. You're helping a lot of P.T.CRUISER owners here. Peace and Bountiful blessings

I did one of these for the first time yesterday. Figured out the reset. The oil level... I had it at operating temperature, the vehicle was level. Did exactly as it said on the screen waited two minutes. Turn vehicle off, and it would say start vehicle go back. I could never get the level to show. What am I doing wrong?
