Yes, I’ve already pre-ordered it! 😀 Design Coco is a trustworthy manufacturer, and I never hesitate to place my orders with them since they’re the same designers behind this eStream Gojo. However, I’m not fond of seeing Gojo in the Prison Realm-it marks the start of all the tragedy. That’s why this eStream Gojo, inspired by the manga cover, will likely remain my favorite Gojo figure of all time. ☺

I genuinely love every Gojo figure I’ve reviewed, except for the Jump Out Heroes Extra new design (the white outfit). Let me break down my ranking like this: 1 Top Favorite Gojo Figure = eStream Shibuya Scramble (manga cover design). No one has surpassed him yet! 2. Top Favorite Gojo Video = Surprisingly, my favorite isn’t a scale figure review but the FuRyu Noodle Stopper Figure Ending 2 Costume Ver. The one where he’s in that cozy black-grey outfit. I always feel at ease when watching this video. 😌 Bonus: 1. My Favorite Figure of All Time = Sadly, it’s not our beloved Sensei! My ultimate No.1 figure is the Merlin Fate/Grand Order 1/8 Scale Figure by Alter. I never get tired of admiring this masterpiece. ✨ 2. My Favorite Video of All Time = It’s actually one of my least popular videos due to the niche series, but my personal favorite is the review of Kusuriuri, the Medicine Seller from Mononoke (1/8 Scale Figure by Kotobukiya). I poured my heart into writing the captions, crafting the video, and selecting the perfect soundtrack-it's the most flawless video I’ve ever made. 😊

@@Gomezli16 I’m not sure what left you feeling disappointed. To me, this figure perfectly matches the promotional photos in every way. The stunning face is exactly as Banpresto showcased, and while the paintwork quality is subpar, I find it acceptable given the affordable price point. 😌

The only difference seems to be the transparent base Sega added to the new release. If you’re undecided on which version to get, I’d recommend going for the cheaper one. 😆

Apologies for the late reply-I’ve just returned from a long holiday. 🙂 Honestly, if the Kotobukiya Gojo has been stuck in your mind this much, I say go for it and add him to your collection! 😆 While it may not be a perfect Gojo figure like eStream and does have a few drawbacks, as I mentioned in my review, Kotobukiya's craftsmanship is still worth the price. You'll be getting a high-quality Gojo figure with a magnificent effect. Sure, his pose and optional head part might look a bit meme-worthy, but I think that just adds to his charm as a fun and unique figure to display! 😁 On top of that, I don’t think any other toy companies are planning to release Gojo in his enlightenment mode at this scale size (at least not that I know of). So for now, the Kotobukiya remains the first and only awakening Gojo scale figure on the market. And hey, why choose? You can always grab Sega's figure and display them together! 😉

Hello! Apologies for the super late reply. I had planned to respond to your comment while in Japan last week since things were hectic before boarding, and it turned out to be even busier once I arrived-I was waking up at 5 a.m. almost every day and crashing before I could get online. 😅 I usually buy Banpresto figures because they have a distributor in Thailand, which means I can get Banpresto and Tamashii Nations figures at reasonable prices. So, I’ve come across my fair share of odd and subpar products from them, especially in their JJK and Demon Slayer collections. At this point, I’m used to it! 🥹 Fortunately, Banpresto really nailed it with this Maximatic Gojo. His striking face is spot-on, just like in the promotional photos. The size is impressive too-true to the “Max”imatic name. As for the base, yes, it does feel quite small compared to the figure’s size. I believe the 10 cm round base is Banpresto’s standard for most of their figure collections. Reusing the same plain black base is probably a cost-saving move on their part. 😒 If Banpresto figures are a rare addition to your collection, why not consider this Maximatic Gojo for your display? That gorgeous face is definitely worth it! I’m sure he’d make a stunning centerpiece in your shrine. 😄

Sorry for the late reply-I just got back from a long holiday. 🙂 Actually, I only have Gojo and Megumi in the KOA line. This Maximatic Gojo is noticeably larger than all his KOA figures. I’ve always felt that Banpresto’s previous Gojo figures were a bit on the smaller side, especially compared to his students like Megumi in the KOA series. That’s why I’m really satisfied with the impressive size of this latest release. 😀

Alter did a fantastic job, but my favorite Kanao figure is from Phat! Company. They captured her perfectly, recreating the iconic scene with the butterfly and crow. 😀

The Maximatic version definitely surpasses it in both quality and design. That said, the baseless design is a lifesaver for collectors like me who are constantly battling limited display space! 🤣

They could have easily gone with a plain black base like Bandai, but instead, they chose an effect base to show that they truly care about the details. 😀

We have an official Bandai/Tamashii Nations distributor, which makes the price quite reasonable-no need to order directly from Japan. I think it really depends on where you live. You can either purchase through a local distributor or ask a nearby toy store to order it from Japan for you. 🙂

For me, the best Demon Slayer Vibration Stars figure is probably Uzui. But I don’t collect this line as I’m not particularly fond of its overall quality. However, the baseless design is a standout feature. It’s super practical for collectors looking to maximize their display space. 😄

My Giyu FZ also has some noticeable flaws on his head, and there wasn’t much I could do since I ordered it from Japan. I recall the price being a bit higher compared to previous Chokonose releases. But let’s be honest - Uzui is my No. 2 favorite Hashira, and I simply couldn’t resist him, especially with that majestic violet yukata and gorgeous hair-down look! 😆 Thanks to his photogenic design and Sega’s new standard, this figure dazzles and feels absolutely irresistible. All Uzui fans shouldn’t miss it! 😉

Sorry for the delayed reply! He's about 17-18 cm in height without a base. It's quite tiny when compared to the previous Gojo releases from the old Sega collection. However, the massive base will make you forget about it. 😀

Even though the pose is a bit unusual, Kotobukiya never fails to impress when it comes to craftsmanship. 🙂 As for the background music, I always use AI-generated tracks from my video editing program to avoid any issues with RUclips’s licensing restrictions. I try to match the music to the personality of each character I review-stylish and energetic tunes for Gojo, and calm, soothing melodies for the serene Giyu. Honestly, selecting the right music is one of the trickier parts of putting together a review clip, so I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed it! 🥰

First of all, I’m so sorry for the very delayed reply! 🥺 The end of last year was such a busy time, but I’m glad I made it through. I also wanted to take the time to properly respond to your thoughtful comment. ☺ This figure comes with two major disappointments for me. First, the new design feels like a big letdown. The author has changed key aspects of Gojo’s iconic identity-the white hair and his gorgeous, sparkling eyes seem to have been left behind in the Prison Realm, along with the author’s heart. The second issue is the figure’s tiny size and subpar quality. Honestly, Bandai should’ve released this in the JJK Jukon no Kata collection, where its affordability would’ve made more sense. These two strikes were enough to prompt me to roast it hard in my review. And yes, the short review reflects my disappointment-I was cautious not to write anything too sarcastic that might spark unnecessary drama. To be honest, I’m still uncertain about how I feel toward the new Gojo design in the future. It no longer sparks joy for me, and any future figures with this design might force a big decision regarding my channel. It feels like Kotobukiya attempted to step out of their JJK comfort zone by crafting this fiery Gojo in such an iconic scene. I truly appreciate the effort poured into the magnificent effects and base-Kotobukiya’s craftsmanship is undeniably top-tier, a standard they consistently uphold in the market. However, I can’t help but question why they chose to omit such crucial and authentic details like the wounds and blood, especially when many collectors voiced similar concerns as soon as the promotional photos were released. Including a bloody face as an optional head part in the DX version could have added the dynamic edge this figure deserves. Despite its potential for greatness, Kotobukiya seems to have played it safe, ultimately missing a golden opportunity to craft the best Gojo figure to the world. 🥹 As for figure arrangements, it’s always a challenge for collectors! Thankfully, since I’ve stopped collecting figures of the JJK boys, I’ve managed to save both budget and shelf space. I recently reorganized my JJK showcase, moving the boys' figures into storage drawers. That freed up some much-needed space for my larger Gojo figures, and I couldn’t be happier with the setup. 😁

Megahouse truly excelled in the design and craftsmanship of this figure. For me, it’s the best representation of Gojo in his Hollow Purple pose. The only drawbacks are its slightly smaller size and the steep price tag. 🙂

I should have picked up Megumi since he used to be my second favorite, but I’ve stopped supporting Jujutsu Kaisen entirely and now only collect Gojo figures. 🙂

The quality is on par with their budget figures, yet it’s being sold at five times the price.
