Motorcycle Scooter Access Gate / Green Light Trigger Device in action
Просмотров 5610 месяцев назад
Have had no luck with getting in this access gate garage and my Suzuki Burgman 200 will not trigger the kiosk to activate as it does not detect a large enough vehicle. Would not detect some other motorcycles either that I tested with. Finally found this Green Light Trigger system that can be installed. Solved my issues in this case. Might work for green lights as well and have had good luck the...

Have you ever tried Lucas brand ethanol fuel treatment? I worked at a bike shop where we used it religiously along with the fuel system treat (cleaner & upper cylinder lubricant) & we had ethanol fuel store for over a year & run everything fine.
piss poor video acts like he's making it in secret sloppy looking kid
Good demo. Love the tone of both, but I'd go with the 490s. I put the 490R (4-wire) and the hotter 498T in my Les Paul and love them. But clearly the Kiesel's are fantastic too.
Mine worked fine on propane. Ran it for 20 hours powering the house via a generator interlock. 15# propane tank lasted about 10 hours. Not planning on using gas unless it's an emergency. Happy so far.
Only difference I can hear is the Kiesel neck has a little more output, but open core pickups look cooler in my book, so I'd pick them just for that reason. Lol
Yeah, the neck is a more noticeable difference in these clips. A good bit hotter and a little more clarity and top end, not as muddy. but I was surprised how similar in the mix the 490T and M12 were though when hearing them back, when playing they feel completely different as there is a lot more gain and articulation in the picking with the hotter M12. The low/low-mids are a lot tighter on the m12 too, hard to hear in these clips unless I have my big headphones on... but I'll admin, the main reason for the change was I wanted to go with the open coil black/cream bobbins look just for something different....lol.
@twc9016 there's only so many ways to wrap copper around plastic and magnets and even then you only get minimal differences at best when you start looking at frequency readings. Got a weird sense of relief when that clicked. Lol
Real nice lookin guitar! The kiesels sound more like 490s than the 490s!
Thanks! yeah the natural SG's look pretty cool, do not see too many of them. This looks like it was an AMS exclusive finish option as I do not see it offered on the main Gibson site. The 490's are cool, these just have tad more oomph and clarity which I am liking, plus was looking for something with cream/black bobbins to change up the look some. Cannot go wrong with either pickup, but will be keeping the Kiesels in there for the long term now that I have had a chance to play it more.
Hope you didn't use synthetic oil for your break-in.
I used whatever WEN Branded 10w30 came with it in the box. Is rare to see the initial 500ml oil you need included, but I guess some of these import engine companies are doing that now. Kind of nice they measure out exactly what you need to get started. When I got my WEN Gn400i a few years ago, they did not include any oil in the box, but maybe they only include it on the smaller engine ones.
Propane is a far better choice than gas. Gas might give slightly more power, but it comes with way more baggage. You made the right choice, and I just made the same. I can store a large amount of propane with ease compared to gas. Thanks for the video.
I have the Wen 56360i gas generator and the oil change is a pain in the ass and I always spill oil, they should have an oil drain plugs for easy oil drainage. I bought the Wen 3600 a few days ago, I did a one hour break in, no load, changed the oil and put a 50% load for another one hour break in and the generator shut down after thirty minutes, WTF!!! It wouldn't start after that, I called Wen and they sent me a shipping label for return for replacement. I hope the replacement works with no issues.
Wow my Wen propane starts second or third pull. I don’t purge anything but i do wait for the gas to fill carburetor i can smell it most times.
On propane, the propane bypasses the carburetor, I’m pretty sure.
@@scottmalan1223 yes but what i meant was i let the propane fill the intake and backup to carburetor.
mine ran for about 1.5 hours and just died, completely died and will not start back up. I will try one more, got a replacement on the way.
that stinks, no fun. Hopefully they come through for you on warranty without too much trouble without you having to pay for shipping and other hoops to jump though. I have not had to use the warranty on my WEN GN400i that I have had a couple of years now so have no idea how good they are to deal with. Champion, WEN, Predator, and all the other import brands all seem to use all the same parts and similar engines, so who knows how long they last. I know these engines may not last as long as my 40 year old Coleman/Tecumsey that keeps on kicking, but I do remember when we got that in the 90's it locked up in its first hour and we had to take it back to HD to get another one, so I guess its all a crap shoot with this stuff sometimes... Hope your replacements ends up being reliable.
Here’s the trick. Once the regulator and tank is turned open, there is a little hole in the side of the regulator. Take a paper clip inserted in the little hole on the regulator, then press the diaphragm with it for about 10 seconds, and you will hear it hiss . Then go to the generator, put it on choke and pull slowly about 5 times. Put it on run and on the third pull it will start.
thanks, will give it a go next time I pull out the generator. Looking at the regulator/hose. Is it the small hole in the center of the flat area on the large secondary regulator that I need to try pressing with the paper clip? Seems to be the only place fitting that description, I do not see one on the first small regulator.
@@twc9016 yes. You’ll know as it is spungy and you’ll hear a hiss.
Nothing against propane but I've never had any issues with ethanol free fuel going bad within a year. Not a bad idea to swap it out every 6-8 months, and stock up before storm season just to be done with it. Propane and ethanol free are both smart ways to go as long as you're proactive.
yeah, not gonna get rid of the gas generator, but just nice to have the propane store a little longer. 15-20 years ago in this area ethanol free was much easier to come by with 87 right down the street. But now, closest is 91 and is 45 mins away, if they have it at all, and then I have to go over an hour away to find 87 ethanol free now days. It is worth the trip and lasts longer though . Stabil has helped for the local ethanol pump gas and swap out every 4-5 months or so, but during the last prolonged outage after day 3 there was no gas anywhere within an hour, was able to get by with pumping out of one of the cars tanks, but there were plenty of propane tank swap places around and stocked, so I guess I am just diversifying my backup options...lol. I ended up getting a 40lb tank, and have 3 20lbs ones around now, so that should get me in the 70-80'ish hour run time on top of the 30-35hrs of gas I have, after that, guess it is time to go
Just ordered mine sold my 2200 watt and upgraded. So you have your run it 8 hrs at 50% ???
Nice, So for the break-in, the manual says not to exceed 50% load for the first 8 hours of use and to engage eco mode periodically to vary the engine speed. It does not say to keep at constant load during that time. I was averaging around 25-35% load for most of the break in as I was running a window unit for the test and then a small space heater at other times. Then during some of the videos I had no load and was just switching between eco and regular mode to vary the rpm's. It says you can exceed 50% load after the 8hr break in oil change. Hope the new gen works well for you.
@@twc9016 cool thx
Hint, OPEN the valve on propane SLOWLY. Maybe multiple times if trouble starting. OPEN, close, OPEN. There is a plastic "BB" inside the regulator that is supposed to be an excess flow safety device. Actually, it is a frustration device.
lol... nice, yeah frustration device. I will try a couple times going slower as I have read that and thought I even went pretty slow in the vid, but maybe just this tank/valve, but trying a few times it has been consistently 10-20 pulls to get it going, but so far can always get it running again. It is pretty easy to pull over as well, so not too bad, but annoying for sure
It's not difficult to convert "premium gas" to ethanol free 87 octane. "how to make ethanol free gasoline" You do have a good agreement about the ease of long term storage of propane.
Sweet guitar! I recently got an HH2, the Holdsworth pickups sound fantastic. I didn't expect Kiesel's thicker neck profile to feel so comfortable, after years of suspecting the opposite was true. I wonder if Kiesel will bring back the Fatboy to their standard line, given how successful the limited run was.
Nice!, the HH2 is on my list to check out one day, just have not gone down the headless route yet, but when I try one it will be a Kiesel for sure. The Fatboy is a cool model and think it would do ok if it stayed around, but I get why they need to streamline their offerings. Wish I had checked one out sooner as I had been looking at them since the late 90's in their old catalogs...took me long enough to pull the trigger on one.
Where did you get the shop manual for the cycle?
The owners manual is a free pdf download from www.genuinesuzukimanuals.com/ The steps for basic maintenance like oil, headlights are in the owners manual and what I followed for this vid. The full 500+ page service manual is $90 from that same site and they mail it to you, much more detailed. I am using the service manual for thigs like valve adjustments and cvt servicing. Will hopefully have some vids out about that process in a few months.
Only problem is when replacing the rear lights when they are much brighter it makes it difficult to see the standard turn signals, the led bulbs appear a bit to bright and make the red lens look more orange,
Thanks, man. Love my Burg 200 and the DYI part of it too. Been debating doing the same, but that line beam of the LED’s give me pause now. 😮. Approaching 10k without having problems with night commuting. Maybe I’ll just spend the time installing my rear luggage break lights instead. 😅
Yeah, the 200 is a sweet machine. these LED's did not work out so went back to the stock bulbs which were not bad at night. They do make more cylindrical style led's that might work better in these housings, but not sure if I have seen them in the H7 size, so might just leave it alone. I do think the rear/brake light LED was worth it as I noticed a nice improvement there and have been running those a few months now... Great to hear no probs with 10k miles, was wanting something reliable when picked this one up. Next vid will be tackling the valve adjustment, I hear that is a bit of an adventure to access on the 200, so that will be fun.
I own the burgman and Xmax the standard bulbs on the burgman are just as good as the led lights of the xmax, the reflectors in the burgman lights are not designed for led bulbs, so I wouldn’t advise switching them to led,
