Sweet. Gonna try this on my 2006 330i e90. Found my rear-left tire has a high wear just on the inner edge. Never seen this type of wear before on other cars. Had to check 3x and compare to my other tires bc of how weird the wear was. The bushing looks very similar to my e90. Only difference is ill have to hammer under the car. Since both bushings are mounted to the hub and subframe.

Is there any good reason not to just JB weld them to the headlights?

I bought ebay clutch for my tdi jetta 2 an oem , an a stage 1 both are garbage the first one went in 6 months the pressure plate broke in half an now the second clutch slips so now I have to take it apart again an work on sending them back an I guess put a factory clutch in the car these after market clutch are a joke they need to take them off the market , you put a new clutch in a car it should work an longer than a few weeks or months

Funny I had same clutch on my vw pick up with 588hp and the clutch held up for 2 years of track use on slicks. I only changed it because I stepped up to a twin disk that I got an amazing deal on. My opinion good clutch kit! #fxclutchkits

In case anyone is wondering, flat side does not face the flywheel. Flat side should go on pressure plate (blue plate). I put it on backwards and had to drop the trans to flip it, I installed it the way I just said and the way he keeps it in the video and it was just fine. Yes im going to daily and drift this clutch. Many buddies vouch for this exact clutch kit. It is a copper based clutch disc which is good because when drifting it gets hot and when a copper disc gets hot it grips way better. An organic clutch slips when it gets hot. I’ll make a RUclips video on everything I did. I did not use the throw out bearing or pilot bearing that came with the kit. I used the bolts and got my own pressure plate bolts (12.9 M8x1.25x15mm coarse)

Coulda choose a diff mounting point but doesn’t matter I guess since it’s a drift build , but damn I have to do this I lost so many corners and side tabs broke off too on the head light

Installed mine in 2019 and it just started slipping in 2023. Two drift seasons and a couple years of DD… m54b30 FBO stock power

Looking at a stage if these for my evo10. Just has real basic mods installed intake,intercooler,boost. Controller, exhaust and tuned. Just going to be the DD. Sounds like they hold up to abuse pretty well.

In the video you say these chassis have toe problems...is it too much toe in or out thats the problem

Did you hammer it back in at all? Mine isn’t just sliding in (which I’m assuming it shouldn’t just slide in case then it could just slide out)

Removing the transmission looks pretty invasive to only replace the pin. What would be the ideal job to ALSO do this with on a manual transmission car (E90), a clutch replacement?

i seriously wish i would of seen these videos BEFORE i bought the rally road dual pump basket. i had 2 E36's. i could of taken the fuel pump assembly from my parts car and been down town !

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I made a error and blew my clutch slave cylinder. I had to fish out the pin with a magnetic tool and the clutch fork became loose. Do you think I've somehow moved the fork out of the retaining spring clip? If so can I get it back on without removing the transmission?

Bro watching this makes me want to start the build but I don't know where to start.. I bought a m50b25 engine and come to find out the internals were super clean but was missing the throttle body and what not but I was planning to build the m50b30 stroker but I guess I need to find a non vanos head.. I don't know where to look turner motorsports is not very specific on their heads.

Which engine did you source the non vanos head from?

Ik this is a old video but how does the clutch go on? Does the raised part with springs go towards the flywheel?

Pretty sweet drifts, this deserves more views. We just had like a foot of snowfall on my army base and I've been doing little drifts with my ford fiesta, so fun! Happy I've practiced with a wheel in video games before, makes it easier.

Thank you for this video! I'm building an e36 on my channel with the intention of learning about the mechanics of the car and then learning how to drift and I've been having trouble with the clutch. This is going to be my solution!

I just got these for my e46 and I believe they came in damaged :( both bearings seem to be completely seized and don’t move around at all while one of them I’m unable to remove the two center “pins” at all. Did you have to do anything to get them removed or spin freely the way yours seem to do around the 6:05 mark
