Thank you Tommy
Yes you ran it with a 12.000 Magic Most powerful most potential
Youre awesome you said ill mess around and buld furniture And if i have to do it with this i will 🎉
The impact only allows you to chose between one the three speed modes OR one of the preset settings. I’m not sure if selecting speed takes it out of your custom setting because I don’t have the Bluetooth module, but I do know that it is the case with the preset A and B settings. If that’s the case with the custom setting, your test was only speed 3 with none of the other features.
There is too much you can make with these How about a jet engine?
I bought the 34 a month ago from Aliexpress and found out that the jaws of the gear head mechanism jam in the tool release position,I have to use a flat screw driver to open them, quite annoying.Any idea how to solve that problem whitout having to send it to a repair shop?
@arkangel13th this sounds like a manufacturing defect. It should release the blade easily and lock in a fresh one tightly. If the teeth aren't pinching together to release the blade, it isn't working properly.
Have you ever tried running this on a 4ah battery? i have a bunch of 4 but nothing larger. I would only use it to be making a handful of cuts at a time. Runtime wouldn't really be an issue for me. Just want to know if it could cut 2x4 on the 4ah.
@@blacktrucksfly i have a bunch of 8 amp batteries, so i haven't tried that. But I'll give it a go, and let you know.
@@tooltipswithtommy That would be awesome. Thanks! Want to keep an eye out for any holiday deals on this saw. Im just a DIY guy looking for something small and portable for jobs around the house and i already have a bunch of bosch 4ah laying around.
What was the outcome fueling this with the non-pro core batteries?? Did it run ok?
@mrmackie85 I'm sorry, but I haven't done it yet. My table saw is kind of tucked away at the moment.
For sale now at acme tools for $149 bare tool. Thanks for the preview. Appreciate the effort ….Wish you would have shown more of the tool being used properly and its full glory. Like precision mode on and full power on. Or maybe reverse mode on nuts and bolts. I’d love to see how the hammer mode supposedly kicks in later on high mode… I’m waiting a bit longer until it’s on sale for $99. Bosch been updating their impacts to often in the past and with too little improvements for me to jump on it right away. I have almost every Bosch 18v and 12v tool. But I have Been holding off on their impacts. I still use their old 25618 Impactor from 10 years ago. All their impacts have been a huge let down in my opinion. I hope this 220 version will be better.
Got the 34, was considering the makita brushless but it was hard to argue when i could get makita tool only for $134 at cheapest or bosch $173 with 4ah battery, charger and blade kit...
Lol for minute 4:37
What is the the battery configuration like? I haven't seen this sideway positioning before and I am not 100% sure if I fully onboard with it. Any perks to having the battery in this position opposed to what other brands opt for which is to have the battery facing the other way around and at times on a slight angle.
I like how Bosch changed it. the weight distribution is pretty much the same, and now you can see how much battery you have left. also it stands upright.
Glorious
Whats the difference between blaze and professional. Which is the latest one
Bosch needs to go back to the drawing board, i hate the thumb switch and wish they it had the option for a dust shroud
And 18 volt
Anyone here with experience with this saw and the DeWalt 60v sidewinder? How would you compare the power? Power seems a bit more than the Metabo HPT 36V sidewinder that I have.
@mgtowski395 i actually have the rear handle flex saw, and it's a beast. I have heard good things about the dewalt flexvolt, but haven't used one. This profactor saw is an all-around good saw. They also have this saw with a blade left design.
@@tooltipswithtommy Thank you. I've heard good things about the Flex "wormsaw." DeWalt 60V has the same, possibly more, power than the corded DWE575SB (excellent saw). Also had a 20v DeWalt 7.25". Made 3 or 4 cuts, then sold it.
Fart at 12:10? Lol good video
@jroark101 maybe? I can't remember, but I do fart, so there's that.

Good content, makes me feel more confident buying an oil extractor for my vehicle.
Hi Tommy, Great review. Could you add the Battery Health Status after a 100% charge to the video…🎉 Thanks
Hey, What website you used to buy this , i cant seem to find one im searching online .
My 28 was stolen 3 years ago. Been using an M12 Milwaukee [my only non-Bosch cordless] to get by and just bought the 34 today. Came to find a review, because I remembered the 28 being so much louder. Thanks for confirming.
I have a GOP 18V-28, if possible, please answer, do you also have battery vibration at speed 5 or 6 due to the battery not fitting tightly to the body? Or is it just me who has this problem, on .core batteries this vibration is stronger than on old type batteries, maybe you can tell me how to solve this problem
You know there are black glue sticks, eh?? (Ryobi makes some, for example... but I'm sure there are other manufacturers/brands too, if you search 'em out). Seems they would suit your needs well for this purpose in repairing these gloves, cuz then they'd also cover up and hide the white bits. Heck, you could even pretend like you play hockey a lot better and never fall down at all! lol 😆
which rotating mount with micro adjust is that that goes with the GLL3-330CG? RM10? RM2?
I just bought one of these lasers and I hope I am not gonna regret this. This is my first Bosch tool as I normally run Makita. How this rotating mount is not included in the kit is beyond me. And how this information isn't on the Bosch website is beyond me. Neither the RM2 or the RM10 mention they are compatible with the GLL3-330CG.
it sucks you have to buy the base separate. They should make a 2 in 1 and you sholdnt have to go out and buy accessories after sinking 5 large into the 330GC.
Mine came with a base, just not the one in the video.
@@tooltipswithtommy same here. And I can't figure out which rotating mount goes with the 330GC....the RM10 or the RM2
@kodepot7521 let me check which one I use.
I am looking forward to ordering the same unit. Keep the Bosch videos coming! 🤝🏽
I like the new compact look which looks an awful like the Festool.
Does the GOP 40-30 which is the corded variant, transmit more vibration to your hand than this bosch gop 18v-34 ?
Probably, only because it's the old style tool. But I don't have the corded one to check. I know somebody who has one, maybe I can check out out for you.
@@tooltipswithtommy if you can check that would be great
@@tooltipswithtommy After reading a lot of stuff on the internet I think that I'm going to buy or the Bosch GOP 18v-34 that you are reviewing or the Fein 500 as they should be the best ones that limit the vibrations trasmitted to your hand during work. I don't know which it's better between the two, have you ever used the Fein?
@LightsnRoses I have not used the fein, I'm sure it would be very good. They were the first to make oscillating tools, they co-developed starlock with bosch. So you will probably be very happy with it. The cordless one also uses bosch batteries as part of the ampshare alliance. Good luck with whichever you choose.
It's obviously not in right speed mode. I'm content with my gdr 1800 for now until the new goes on sale in North America
I actually had to connect it to the app, and adjust the settings. At the end of the video you'll see it kicks ass.
thanks for the "28" "34" meaning
Also question off topic. My 7 year-old cordless bosch drill lost power (or torque) when in 2nd gear. Brushes look fine. Tried new batteries and no luck. What could possibly cause it?
@konstantynelim I'm not really qualified to answer that, I'm sorry. There's a lot of tech built into tools nowadays that it could be many things. Have you taken it to a service center? I do know a guy that works for bosch if you're in the so cal area?
If it has brushes, your drill is simply tired. Drills tend to get over stressed while on speed 2. Time to go brushless.
Awesome video! One question I have being an electrician my main use for it is cutting kitchen cabinets so kick back and bouncing is a big concern as it may cause a damage to the surface. I've been using 12v milwaukee all this years but vibration and lack of power really started to annoy me so I decided to give it to my apprentice and go with 18volt and since I already have bosch batteries and chargers for my cordless drill then these two models are the only option. So my question is which model is better for fine cuts?
@konstantynelim honestly for plunge cutting precision, it comes down to blade selection. I would definitely recommend a curved blade. The bosch, or diablo starlock blades with curvetec are the way to go. Good luck.
be cool if torque test channel can get their hands on this model and compare it to the rest.
if i had there address i would send it to them...
that is a great idea. Wishing that too.
It will be available in the US market in the next month. Mid October at the latest.
I'm a lefty, I can help out next time.
Funciona como pulidora
@@diegoarmandotorresperez yes it does
Grabbed the 28 at Lowe’s today for $99 apparently they had it mislabeled and weren’t too happy about it but for $99 it was a no brainer.
I just got the 34 at Lowes today for $99.
You should wrap it!
I already bought the paint, but if I screw it up, that's a great idea.
Maybe you can make those dumb hood vents actually functional as part of your upgrades:)
I've thought about that...
Just received the GLM-165-27CGL and I registered the unit online and I noticed the registration site said I must register the battery separately but when I tried to put the model in the registry dropdown it would not find the GLM-BAT as the model number.
That's strange, I really should register my tools.
Do you know if it takes the fein blades? And can you put the blades on any different angles?
it will take any starlock blades, and yes they can be put on in many angles.
el modelo blaze es mas actual que el professional?
Si
@@tooltipswithtommy gracias
Cool! Time to start adding power mods now :)
no doubt, i'm already doing some research.
Great! I've the 12v version, Bosch should update them too. Including the lever to switch blades quickly and the EC Brushless motor.
Im waiting on my replacement. My pump split in two pieces on the second use.
Dang, I've used mine about 6 times, with no issues. I'm glad they replaced it for you.
Hi! The 165-27CG is the same as 50-27CG?
I think you may be correct. Different model numbers on different continents
stingers are a little over priced imo. but at least your doing your own work for 2200 not bad . new they are crazy for what they want for a kia i noticed a biohazard sticker was it just some blood or a death
i agree, new they are expensive. i've always wanted one though, and this is right up my alley. i don't think the old owner died, but there was blood on the airbag. driver wasn't wearing his seatbelt, and his head hit the rearview mirror, and windshield, and that's what broke it, and led to the bleeding. I think. i would guestimate that they were going less than 45 mph when they impacted.
They run 10s on stock turbos. They are a bargain.
Hi Tommy. I just ordered the GSB18V-1330CN PROFACTOR, then I started wondering if a 4Amp will be sufficient, or should I shop for something bigger, then on my search I see also you have had one for a year. Would the 4Amp be ok, or should I go shopping?
the 4 amp works fine for the profactor drill. for extreme situations, you can step up to the 8 amp hour. i use mine with the 4 amp battery all the time.
@@tooltipswithtommy Thanks Tommy.
How heavy is it with the 4 Ah battery? Is it well balanced with the battery or tilts back to the battery side?
@atexnik it's well balanced with the 4 amp hour, but the 8 will make it back heavy.
Hi Tommy. On the Bosch GOP18V-34, which battery feels better? 2Amp, 4Amp, or 5Amp etc?
I'm a big fan of the 4 amp hour core battery. I think that's the sweet spot. I'm hoping that bosch does a tabless cell 4 amp hour battery.
Do you recommend getting 5Ah battery, given the price delta is negligibly small. Weight wise it seems to be only +20 gram heavier.@@tooltipswithtommy
@@atexnik i like the fact that the 4 amp hour battery uses the newer 21700 cells. either will work well though.
I assume, you mean the Procore series batteries. @@tooltipswithtommy
I’ll keep the 28 for now until it breaks, then il get the updated version. Nice review 👍🏼
Thanks
Well, you'll keep it forever then. Godd luck trying breaking down a bosch)
