I wish I could play this game. I got this retro obsession and now this arcade game caught my interest! I wanna know how very complicated this game is or was!
It's a very tough game. The key is utilizing shortcuts and learning the "lines." Manual transmission is also the easier option as opposed to automatic because you can reach higher speeds when you choose manual. When I was a kid, I played this at my local bowling alley, and I always played using automatic. I reached the last level, but unfortunately, I could never beat the game. I'm hoping to buy one of these cabinets someday. Another thing I'd like to add is that the game is way too short. My dream is to create a remastered version with more levels and more nuance(different vehicles, cities, paramedics, etc.).
@@RedGabyGTM2 No worries, it only sent once. This game is basically a puzzle coupled with a racing game. I appreciate your interest in retro games. Games these days don't exude the same magic that cabinets have.
Alright mate. I was just browsing through the collection thread on ukvac and came across your vid. Really nice room. Every base covered and your machines look really good condition. I love the hotd cab. Plans on adding anything else? You certainly don't want to squeeze too much in there as it is really nicely spaced out. Cheers
Its def the right balance between space and number of machines right now, its still the same now, its too easy to get carried away and crowd more cabs in but ive resisted that temptation so far... ...I have been thinking about selling the HOTD 4 cab and putting in a versus cab setup in its place, perhaps 2 blast cities or a versus city if I can find one....
@@johnyates8088 Yeah I suppose Hotd is quite a big foot print for one game. The beauty of candies. I play hotd2 on my naomi. That keeps the light gun fix in my set up. Two blasts would be good. I know a guy who has loads of cabs on stock if you are thinking about it in next few months or that. Any old username is his handle on ukvac. He is focusing on a load of Aeros at moment but does have blasts and nnc's ins stock. Paddy is a really great guy too.
I pretty much only buy cabs, I very rarely sell..lol...its getting harder and harder to find good condition candy cabs like them now, would be hard letting go of them when the time comes....
