Dainese Knee V E1 N Guards Review and Mod
Here's a great set of knee guards that I decided to make better by adding a quick clip for putting them on and taking them off. Enjoy!

Close Call | Lane Splitting
Просмотров 638 лет назад
This short clip shows me almost getting into a wreck by a person lane splitting. In Nebraska you're not supposed to lane split, so I never think anyone is going to do it when riding. The camera records with a fish eye wide angle effect so it doesn't seem as close as it was when it happened. But when it happened I was very suprised and angry that I almost got hit by another motorcycle.

Motorcycles for taller riders - Trying 5 bike on for size - test fit
I did the same thing yesterday, after this work, rideing my bike feeling more comfortable. Barkbusters is good.
So u went to bike shop to validate that u want a tracer 900 and not have the money yet ?
I don't see any issue with the hondas at all
Hi there, Yes, absolute genius recommendation as the time it takes to get these on (over the trousers etc) is just too long and makes them impractical! Otherwise they are great protectors and very comfortable, so with the buckles added they're perfect! Thanks for sharing this great idea and exact steps on how to do it! Very much appreciated.
Do you guys use it on sport racing bike?
I just came across your video for the Bark Busters handguards for the V-Strom very well done I believe I'll get me a pair of them
Good video. Great kit that fit the bike. I put a cheap kit on my xr250. Lots of bending and custom work to make it fit. The bark busters look much better
Did you find out what it was?
Do u wear these under or over ur jeans?
THANKS
Disney Land music, god damn,
I am 6ft 4 inches and I really don't know of any middle-sized bike which would fit my size. In fact I think all the bikes shown above are too small for the tall rider. At the moment I have the NC750x - which feels small for me too anyway. A big guy needs a big bike however. What would fit would be a BMW GS1200, an AfricaTwin, a Ducati Multistrada and the like ...
you still live in Lincoln?
xD
Awesome video! Just subscribed, I would appreciate it if you could subscribe back. Thanks!
Great idea
Why did you not used the other 2 smaller side pad protectors?
What is all this "looking too big"? Missing the point. Get on a BMWGS
I was able to take seats on the CB650f, the FZ07, XJR900 and the FJ09. I looked like a clown on all those bikes except the FJ09 or Tracer900 (in Europe) great bike, fits like a glove. But I need to save money for it too now haha
your video tutorial has been exemely useful. I am going to get mines tomorrow and I'll follow your steps much more than the instructions.
Man,that is crazy...it's like the whole helmet lit up when you put the flashlight on it........crazy
name of song?
I like the idea, but the zip part... pufff... at least metal zips?
I went with a KLR 650. The flat seat allows me to ride 1/2 way into the passenger area where I actually fit. All of the stepped seats forced me uncomfortably forward. My knees were into the fairing on the Gold Wing!!!
This was really helpful. Thank you for posting it.
Hey Dude, Great video. I ordered the knee/shin guards from Revzilla, too. I made my decision based on this video. I reviewed many reviews of lots of different ones, but I liked the look and design of these. The guards arrived today and I was able to buy the clips at a local Army surplus store. Price was a little high, but didn't have to fool with ordering and shipping. I used four ties on the 1.5 inch straps and three on the 1 ich straps. Took me a while to figure out the best way to route the zip ties, but once I got that figured out, no problems. Nice neat installation and like you mention, it doesn't require any cutting, or modification to the guards.
Honda Dude great to hear you're all set. I'm still using the same set of guards and they're holding up good.
beutiful bike sir...
LockTite.? And I question our installs. The directions written say the bars are tightened in the horizontal position. WE have installed them even with the levers. I have noticed a stiff breeze OVER my wind guards this winter, have you.? I intend to pivot the busters up above the levers, at the front if possible. Whatdoyathink.? Take care of the exact twin to my Adventure
Paul Silva The guards are working great for me, no problems, or adjustments needed. I always wear gloves, so never really notice wind.
this music is annooyiingg
why not show us cruisers also?
Cruisers are generally slow and suck in the corners. Ok if youre trying to look cool tho i guess
Try the ktm adventure 1190.. its quite big
everything over a litre is quite big. And also unnecessary heavy and ridiculously overpowered
3m reflective is great, finding it in a decent size at a decent price is hard but here is an amazon link to some reasonably priced stuff in different colors and sizes, starting under $10! www.amazon.com/Bright-Night-Black-Reflective-reflects/dp/B01MR8WTMB/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486607527&sr=8-1&keywords=bright+night+reflective+decal
thanks for sharing. hopefully my install will go as smooth.. thats not a stock windsceeen is it?
Jerry Minakowski - it's a givi airflow screen, it's been a really good addition to the bike.
Hehe...don't recall ever hearing anybody lament about an upcoming vacay in Hawaii. Riding motorcycles will do that to you!
Are you gonna be making more videos?
Kasinova Da Don Yes! This spring I'll have new videos, right now it's too cold so haven't had a chance to get out and ride. I might have something to publish before spring though. Thanks for watching!
Hey man I see you almost everyday on highway 77 on my way home! That or it's another very similar yellow bike!
why the Cowboy music ? Sounds like The Wild Wild West !
i thought that on the cb500x you were just fine - though it is need a little bit of modification - the handlebars to be raised up and the seat need to be change to fit a taller person . I'm a 6"4 and i had that cb500x - it fit me ok .. thank a lot for your video
What seat do you use?
I'm not sure about your particular helmet, but I've been able to remove it off of helmets with a glossy coat without problems.
OK, thanks!
Hi and thanks for the video! Is this tape proper for a polycarbonate helmet? Because they say that some kinds of glue can damage it.
I'm 6' 4" and Im sick of my Yamaha FZ8 lack of comfort...seat is a rock and no leg room and shifter made for people with tiny feet. Im so sick of street bikes designed by tiny humans for puny humans, I'm being forced to just ride dirt bikes. I find it sad that in the name of "style" these idiots have made our bikes miserable to ride more than 30 minutes. Every bike built 30 yrs ago you could ride all day and not hate the bike. They had seats...with foam. People say we look like dogs humping footballs on the bikes... I find the whole situation so stupid it just makes me sad. The Super Duke 1290 is the only bike that came close to fitting tall guys, then I found out what a mechanical nightmare it is and backed away... they almost hosed me with that one. What a bike..until you ride it hard and cause flex and get the oil leak. Or warp the brakes rotors every month. This is my last year of trying, I'm gonna end up getting a new YZ 450 and say screw you street world.....they dont deserve any more of my money or time. I don't even exist to these design weasels. I will never be old enough or fat enough to buy a damn cruiser bike so that option is out. If these idiots ever made just 1 friggen good bike for tall people we would buy it by the millions.
Get a Adventure bike, like a Africa Twin, you will feel like a midget on of those bikes xD
Hey, I'm 6'3" and gonna buy Yamaha FZ8 naked, can you provide a video of yourself riding that bike. I want to see how tall rider looks on this bike. Thanks!
Cool mod. I have these guards. I'll have to try it.
11/10 for the music!
BMW R1200GS is your bike
Have a comment and a sub. And I've never seen that before in town... Not a very smart chap.
i think its dangerous , in a crash those clips wont hold. take care buddy.
even if its worn underneath jeans ?
Great idea, very useful.
Good video. I found that a hair-dryer and credit card worked ok.
I found that Selleys Tar and Bug remover worked, too.
Thanks...I am 6'4" and love the old standards like Bonnevilles...I just feel too big on them.
Exact the same size the same taste and the same problem
