Great job, Will! I like the seven of diamonds. It's the only card where the value and suit are both two syllables, so it's unique in that way.

I've only just got into card magic so I'll be honest I've not really thought about a favourite card. My favourite number is 9 and I like the spades so my favourite card as of this moment is 9 of spades!!

I learned this trick 30 years ago.... Come up with something fresh JUNIOR....

OK that's cool but I think you should make their card appear in your back pocket (as the better position) and stress "you THOUGHT of a position while my back was turned (make it sound impossible) then do the same making it seem as if you screwed up then say "now wait I told you I put your card in a better position then reach into your back pocket and slowly reveal their selected card. One other enhancement do half of it blindfolded....trust me this is a gr8 effect but like my fav Magician says " you don't want gr8, you want spectacular ".

Now I remember how it's done.

A wonderful card effect - thank you very much! I like your emphasis on the slower reveal at the end as opposed to identifying the card and blurting out the reveal. Teasing out the color, possible suit, actual suit, whether it's high or low (or even court card, spot card) and then bringing it all together to reveal the identity of the card draws out the spectator's sense of wonder more than a fast reveal - but that's just me. Tell spectator if you was going to next card so your card was newer found it was going in face dawn position 😅

Seems to be just pure coincidence (or MAGIC!) but in your first performance of the trick the spectator's card colors match yours starting from the bottom of the deck and working up. To put it another way, looking at the deck from the spectators left to right, those colors match the spectator's card colors. Didn't happen in your tutorial performance though.

I was hoping for a surprise punch at the end. Little bit let down
