@@dlb6903 Yes I know, but tanks are going to be way longer above 60%hp than squishies as they have more health so you get more benefit from that, and that's not the case for last stand as tanks typically don't get you low all the time

@@Kyan100 Oh my bad i thought you were stuck on the previous cutdown, but still, i think that u don't see the benefits of cutdown on squishies, the cool thing as i say is that it works if your hit, hit the target when it is higher than 60%, so basically, in teamfights, if you can land an Ult on the squishies and you got cutdown, you will get 10% amp dmg from ult +8% amp dmg on cutdown +10% of 8% (so 0.8%) bonus damage on your first E on them, so basically it is a nearly 20% amp E on your first E in a teamfight, it can absolutely change a game. I think that's the reason why elite500 consistently run cutdown when taking precision.

@@dlb6903 Mmh that's interesting indeed, I typically opt into the precision tree for lane dominance and the haste but this way cutdown could also be a great scaling opportunity for teamfights meaning you can definitely pair it up with phase rush for example. @@Kyan100 Think about creating content regarding positioning in the early game-when to follow with Vladimir and when to prioritize farming. Personally, I adapt based on whether I scale well, and I always pay attention to the elo I'm playing at, which is low, so I prioritize guaranteed gold from minions in this case. You could always pull something useful from a video like this, or, alternatively, how to play in difficult matchups where farming becomes challenging.

@@KormitTheFrag Yeah indeed looks like burst vlad is back unfortunately, I'll try everything to find alternatives but so far this is what it looks like. I think you're better with cosmic than horizon though as horizon passive is kinda useless on vlad

the main reason we are even considering it is that they still haven't fixed it proccing of E when it shouldnt- its kinda finnicky and yeah its probably not the best, but you still get the haste of cosmic and you still get a sizable damage increase that stacks with the ult multiplier. probably just needs some time in the oven, and might not be worth it in the end, but if it does then it could be solid, though you would really have to play around the bug to really use it and it would only really work on a burst build with full pen ofc. battlemage builds would still be better with cosmic probably. worst case scenario- while this gets cooked up, other people are cooking up actual builds that aren't trolling so nothings lost! oh and the R activation is procing phase rush and taking tower aggro so thats something to look into, though itll probably get patched.

This is what I do: versus tanky teamcomps I like to go ability haste such as cosmic drive + riftmaker (and runes) --> all this will give a enough ability haste. But with ability haste you will do 0 damage vs enemies who stack MR, therefore going magic pen is super important so a void staff will be necessary. As for the flat pen, the damage 'goes off' after the percentage pen so it has more effect than one might think. As for lucidity boots, I go them when I get an early lead as ability haste allows you to snowball super hard as it's turbo broken early on. However in lategame they are bad and you should always swap to sorcery shoes at full build as your build & runes typically provide you with enough ability haste that you benefit a lot more from the pen especially against enemies who stack MR. Generally speaking, ability haste is great vs champs who stack HP but not necessarily MR, think of Rod of ages/liandries/seraphs embrace users/... like ryze, cassio, kassa etc... . However if the enemies how full tanks like ornn, ability haste will be needed BUT in combination with pen or you will literally do 0 damage.

As for Hwei, like I said tierlists are subjective of course so my opinion isn't straight fact, however I believe hwei focuses more on pushing the wave and establishing wave prio rather than straight up lane bullying which makes this matchup easier. Additionally, his cooldowns are longer than Orianna for example, meaning that you can actually get some good trading by using your W smartly which isn't really the case against Ori as she can perma attack.

@@xxlemmonxx68 I believe you can play vladimir in every game and blind pick him untill Master elo and perhaps higher. That being said, Vladimir works best in teams where you have some engage like an amumu jungle because your champ is amazing at follow-up engage. Additionally, the only thing that can stop Vladimir in the mid and lategame teamfights is lots of CC, so Vladimir is not ideal vs heavy CC comps. As for the lane, Vladimir is also not ideal to pick into control mages like Syndra & Orianna as they easily outpoke you (you can find my lane matchup tierlist guide for Vladimir on my channel)

Nerver really played it as it was clearly OP and would be nerfed and I think it's already being nerfed next patch so not really a positive opinion on it, W max was a bait for many people to perhaps climb a bit in rank but now that it's being nerfed those people will suffer and lose lp game so all it did is basically waste people's time and additionally now the standard Q max players will also suffer a bit due to all the attention and thus the nerf, so not too happy about it haha :)

Of course, the Q flash combo is super fun and works quite well, but it's typically not enough dmg (of course sometimes it is) so then you mainly use the F R Q combo or Q F R combo for example if you don't have E. But yes the Q flash combo is really good but just quite niche. As for buffering vlad's ult, yes you can still do it :). Just press R F super fast and you'll do it. Yeah, you’re absolutely right Q F is quite situational, but… you couldn’t imagine how much times I missed kills or was killed trying F Q W, as you explained in the guide. Cancelled Q, was not quick enough 😂 in my defense I was in bronze those times, and you probably shouldn’t pay Vlad if you’re in bronze. With Q F W it’s much easier to do properly. The same is for Q F E W over F Q E W. Also it has a major implication in teamfights: you’re right that proper combo is F R E W + red Q afterwards on a priority target. First Q (often on frontline) doesn’t worth the risk, unless you don’t have your red Q. In this case starting with buffering normal Q is often the difference between one-shooting backline vs leaving them low and being killed for free. So you’re always ready to combo, unless you’re on 0 stacks.

DO NOT speak of that dark technology publicly. but i will tell you. its W max grasp vlad. it lets you take scaling runes and also have a good laning phase for top lane. because of how W works the more minions you are in the more healing you can get. so you can auto them and make them stack waves and then get huge healing standing in pool under a wave. I also find that because the cooldown is so low you can just use it casually when trading which makes some matchups very favorable.

​@@citizen6458You explained it well, however, personally I don't like it as it will be nerfed in the near future and it basically teaches you to trade with W which will be bad after the nerfs, additionally you lack damage to really snowball. It's definitely viable to climb but in my opinion definitely not the most optimal way.

@@Kyan100 i definitely feel similar, i've felt the lack of dmg from not lvling E until lvl 13ish. But its to much reliable scaling and lane power to pass up. likely will get nerfed because its super frustrating to play against.

@@citizen6458 I understand that, but I don't feel like you lack lanepower with the normal setup unless you play in very hard top matchups, think of tryndamere for example, then a W max is probably optimal.
